Introduction
A Struggle With Sin is the story of a fantasy world in the midst of a civil war. Rising taxes and raids by orcs and bandits make each villager act according to their own needs first. I love a good fantasy story and I got the impression the person who made this game is into the same kind of stuff I am such as Game of Thrones and Lord of the Rings as that is the kind of vibe, I am getting from this. I do want to add that this game is funded via Patreon so if you like what you see do not be scared to throw the guy a few gold coins so he can get ale from a local wench! Will you become like the others in this corrupt society? Or will you stay true to yourself and find a way out of the chaos that surrounds you?
Features:
Two Babes Go To War
I found the premise of A Struggle with Sin very interesting. The game has a medieval and fantasy setting and there are two princes who are at war in a massive civil war over who will be the one to rule the kingdom. You start out as a fairly insignificant person, but soon you find yourself thrust into the middle of this and you must decide what kind of person you will be.
There is a great deal of choice in this game and no matter if you decide to be good or bad, you get the impression that the choices you are making in the game do actually matter. This is something many lewd RPGs (and RPGs in general) struggle with.
Taking On The Right Quest
A Struggle with Sin is a full-on RPG kind of game. You will need to go to many different locations in the land and talk to people, making sure you are saying the right thing in order to move the story along. This aspect of the game is good as I liked the story, I also liked how you could change the names of all the characters if you wanted.
You have a lot of items to find that will help you on your way and I liked how you had a decent selection of weapons. Combat in the game is pretty straightforward, but you do have to think about what you are doing or the AI will just run over you, I do like this and it took me a little while to truly get to grips with what I was doing.
A Bit More Refined Than The Rest
The art style that has been chosen for A Struggle with Sin is very interesting. How many lewd RPGs that were made with RPG Maker have you played where the characters are all done in a pixel-art kind of style? I hand on heart have lost count at this point. In this game, the characters all have a much more realistic look to them. The whole game plays things very straight in terms of the visuals and this is something I do like.
Conclusion:
A Struggle with Sin [Chyos] [v0.5.8.5a] are fully 3D and no matter what your kink is, you will find it here. These sex scenes are very well done and I really liked how as the in-game graphics were more realistic. There was not that same disconnect that you get with other lewd RPG’s. Where they go from using pixel-art to realistic-looking sex scenes.
Changelog:
The party at the camp is now available even if you sent Liandra to the Baron (this will also help to improve morale, you must have your men at the camp or it won't work)
[*]New animations for the party and I extended the event by a lot
[*]New animations for Lyvia at her tent
[*]The MC can now learn to equip a sword by training with Lyvia
[*]You can gear up your mercs if John made armor for them, which you can pick it up at his smithy (interact with the camp on the Mercenary map)
