Hi really good app for learning other languages i am really appreciated there firm efforts that created Clubhouse we can learn differ languages of the world and also outstanding app for funny time thank you.

I was happy to see CH come out for Android, and have been enjoying the content, learning how to work the app, etc. My biggest issue is that when I try to send an invite it doesn't show up for the person I'm inviting. It tries to change my text app to FB Messenger, and then the message just disappears, and I lose the right to send it again. The reminders seem to help as I've been able to send those. I think this forum has real potential, but the problem with invites is discouraging.

It's been just a day, but from what o have found so far it's a wonderful platform to connect and learn new stuff. However, it took a while for me to figure how to go about and make use of the platform effectively. A document or the sorts detailing the onboarding can be very helpful for entrants. I managed to find a group in the hallway explaining abt CH which some may find useful. it's definitely a great platform if you have the clarity of your purpose. will share updates after further use.

When do I get notified about people?

Here are the major notification types you can expect to receive:

A friend starts or joins room. When a friend creates or joins room, you'll get a notification to join in. Heads up, if you're the first person to join a room, you'll automatically be on stage as a speaker! If you join after a second person has joined already, you'll go in as an audience member.

A friend is speaking. When a friend is speaking in a room, you'll get notified so you can choose to join.

A friend shares a room. When someone you follow shares a room in their hallway, you'll get a notification to check it out!

Can I adjust my notification settings?

You can update your notification settings from your user profile! 

To update your notifications:

Tap your profile pic at the bottom right.

Tap on settings on your profile. 

From there, you can select if you would like to pause notifications, or you can access the notification settings to adjust them by:

Toggling Chat Notifications.

Toggling Direct Notifications

Tap on any of the houses you created or are part of, and customize each notification setting.

Remember, Clubhouse is live! Notifications will help you stay engaged with the community, but we encourage you to set your notifications in a way that suits your lifestyle!

How do I enable Dark Mode?

Dark Mode makes it easier to use apps in low light environments, at night, or if you’re light-sensitive - it also saves battery life. When you select Dark Mode, your user interface will change so that text is a lighter color and the background is a darker color. 

Can I use the "Magic Two-Finger Z" gesture with VoiceOver (iOS Users)?

You can use the "Magic Two-Finger Z" gesture in the Clubhouse app to quickly escape, dismiss, or close various windows or actions. 

To perform this gesture do a two-finger scrub (move two fingers back and forth three times quickly, making a “z”).

Note: There are some scenarios where the gesture may not apply to prevent any unintentional actions.

What does VoiceOver or TalkBack do when I am asked to speak in a room?

If you're in a room and invited to the stage to speak by one of the moderators, you'll receive a shortcut message that you can select to "Join the stage."
