I've found after 15 plus years from xbmc till the present, the key is don't overload the core with add-ons you don't need or use. Find ones that work for you thru trial and error and remove ones that don't. Keeping it uncluttered it will sing along with ease. Cuts the cord. It deserves 6 stars.

kodi is the best app you will ever come across if you know how to use it . I've got it on an android box . 20 notes off amazon. worked for 10 years no problem. my box didn't lol. get yourself a cheep android box . go on goole not play store . look for apps . simple . I wouldn't download on phone . kodi needs to access apps by unknown authors . ps . sometimes it's handy to have a VPN . I was reading some of the people having problems with kodi . try taking off the security on the WiFi.

Have problems getting set up. Also the configurator when first downloaded works and helps you how it's supposed to, but when you reopen the configurator to use it again it asks you for a donation. It isn't charging a fee, but you can't use it at all unless you pay the donation or delete the app and reload it. (con)!!!

Without this app, my experience on my projector would be mediocre. This is the only app that allows me to move the videos (with black bars) to the lower end of the screen. When watching on a 184 inch screen, I don't end up hurting my neck, but I can now look straight. NO OTHER PLAYER ALLOWS THIS!! And then you have all the best features of a video player.
