Hello, my name is cure, and I'm currently developing the adult visual novel Love by the Water!As of Chapter 4, LbtW contains over 70,000 words of dialogue, 7,650 renders, and 215 animated videos.Due to an odd connection with the ocean, the protagonist—an avid reader raised by his fisherman father—has never been able to venture far enough away from home to really experience the world around him. Tomorrow, the local school re-opens near the town’s pier, and our self-taught and socially inexperienced protagonist uses it as an opportunity to get out of his shell and make new friends, all the while attempting to hide his family’s secret.

Developer Notes:

I’m hard at work preparing the full 0.1 release for Love by the Water, but I decided I wanted to release a demo before the full first update which should be going live within the next month. This covers roughly the first half or so of 0.1. I’m hoping this will allow me to get some early feedback on the game so I know what to work and focus on. If you have the time, I would really appreciate feedback on what you liked or hated about the game and general comments about your experience. This demo should properly set the tone of the project and introduce you to the cast, though keep in mind that this game will heavily feature supernatural/fantasy elements that are not yet present.

Hello, first off wanted to let you know I'm loving the game so far. The story is exciting, and the characters are wonderful. I saw that you don't do the port for the android version yourself, but wanted to mention anyways that replaying scenes in the gallery doesnt seem to be working right. When you click on a scene, the box pops up with the mouse click options. But no matter where i click on the screen, it just backs out to the previous menu screen.

Ok... Love The game So far But I'm Only at the Very Beginning. and I tried to play at Joiplay nut it seems it's not compatible cuz everytime I tried to open it it Immediately Closes, so the best thing is the Android Version and the runs But... just a Little thing I encountered is Some texts are not read able cuz they Dont show up the whole thing, Like this for example, the text is. waaay on the Left. and this is only happening if there's to Character talking at the same time.

Wow, I'm just totally bedazzled; from the description, I had a general idea, but in less than 5 minutes I was already gobsmacked. The dialogues and the MC's introspection, particularly, are incredibly deep. The talk between Dad and Desmond was soul-moving. The girls are all using one or more trope.And the comedy! By the Nine Circles of Hell, that scene at the onsen with Ken and everybody else! The scene with Mallory in her room when her parents arrive! And the lingerie store!The models are great, the lewd scenes quite tasty, but the story is just so amazing! If you ever feel a bit more adventurous, I'd say this game's story and plots and characters could help you a lot in writing a small series of books based on this. Just sayin'...Tldr; this game is shaping up to be an amazing work of art!Definitely fav'ing and following!P.S.: The only part that I'm actually wary about is the ammount of characters; as you build the game towards the conclusion, it will inevitably become more difficult to manage exposure and revelation for all of them without leaving loose ends. Still and regardless, I wish you the best of luck!
