You know that this week is actually Under Your Spell's debut anniversary? Yes, this is a 38th weekly devblog, and you are not wrong in your assumption that a year still has 52 weeks in it. But I bet that very few know, that I actually started posting these devblogs on F95Zone prior to the game's alpha release. So I have been actually going at it for a full year now. It looked something like this:

But let's get to the interesting parts. Last week I did some more writing, and now Gwen's fifth event is finished too, which only leaves four events to finish. I am still on a fence about the event I was planning to write for Elizabeth. The one where you actually go on a date. Because in my original plan it was supposed to be her sixth event, but her actual fifth event, the one that I did finish, is on the shorter side, so I thought that maybe I do need to include the date too. Now, looking at Elizabeth's events, and seeing how most of them are very large, I am thinking on maybe letting this update be on the shorter side for her. I'll have to think about that.

In any way whether I have four or three girl-events to write, I am almost there for the next Major update. Shady Two is putting the finishing touches onto Katelyn's sprite, and we are aiming to have the release ready for the early May update. It will include five first events of Katelyn's storyline, new events for each of the rest of the girls, as well as a bunch of other additions that we set aside for this update specifically.

Also, we might be rethinking our release plan after this major update. If you remember our early roadmap, you might know that I initially planned to make updates to all girls' stories simultaneously, but considering how much artwork we will need to make for each of their arc finales, we might move to the "only focus on one girl" paradigm. I and Shady Two will have to mull it over a bit more before we share our definitive plans with you all.
