Introduction

This game is a parody of a grimdark future. The Imperium is threatened by enemies, and Inquisitors - agents dedicated to preserving Mankind - are far from omnipotent. Therefore, they employ Acolytes to help them protect the Imperium. Players will take the role of a young female protagonist, an Acolyte in service to an Inquisitor. She will be tasked with investigating the disappearance of several officials and other mysterious cases in the city, which may be related to certain heretical cults, twisted mutants, and other abominations. The game is guided by the Acolyte's investigation to root out the enemies. As an Acolyte, it is her duty to protect Mankind from the enemies, using a gun or bombs if necessary. However, there are times when she will not conduct her investigation in a conventional manner due to her lack of training and proper equipment. So, she will have to 'improvise' and use whatever means necessary to achieve her goals. Should she fail, entire worlds may fall into endless suffering.During the game, you will choose the actions of this character, making decisions based on your personality. Enjoy the adventure of solving mysterious puzzles, traveling to new locations, interrogating suspects, and performing sexy diplomatic non-combat tasks.

Changelog:

I am here to share the latest progress on our inquisitor trainer visual novel video game. After many hours of crafting the story, designing mechanics, and building immersive environments, our prototype build just got a major upgrade! We're working on the final dungeon, which is basically the ultimate showdown where every choice you've made throughout the game gets tested. It's like the moment in movies when the hero goes, “This is it,” but with way more grimdark vibes and branching endings.

Will your story end in triumph, tragedy, or total chaos? Well, that’s up to you—and maybe a bit of luck, too. The final dungeon is shaping up to be equal parts epic and emotionally crushing (in the best way possible).

And here's a little bonus to spice up your grimdark journey—vintage magazine covers! Yep, scattered throughout the game are collectible artworks styled like 40k era magazines. Imagine headlines like “Bolter Enthusiast Monthly” or “Hive City Interiors: A Guide to Grit & Grime.” These gems are not just eye candy; they’re like little time capsules from a dystopian future. Trust me, they’re worth hunting down—if only to marvel at the idea of a Chaos Marine gracing a lifestyle cover titled "HERESY ILLUSTRATED."

Get ready to raid every nook and cranny, because these collectibles might just become your favorite way to procrastinate facing the final dungeon. Who needs existential decisions when you can curate a dystopian art gallery, right? Oh and by the way, those magazine covers that you will collect in the game is totally NSFW unlike those little samples here.

We’re pouring our hearts, souls, and probably way too many snacks into making this the perfect climactic experience. So, keep your boltguns polished and your decisions sharp—you’re going to need them!

As always, your support means the galaxy to us. Thanks for helping us make this dream game a reality. You rock harder than an ork on a Waaagh!

Comments:

I knew before I played Inquisitor Trainer that it was a parody of Warhammer 40K. Now, I have played a ton of lewd parody games about stuff that I am actually into and I know that “authenticity” plays a big part of how enjoyable they are. As I said, this is not a franchise I know a ton about (I have only played a few of the video games) so I cannot say for sure how faithful it is. However, I have read a few reviews and opinions from Warhammer 40K fans and the feeling seems to be that it has the characters and settings, but it does not feel like Warhammer 40K.

The story in Inquisitor Trainer is ok for the most part. As I said, I am not a big fan of the source material so I had to just take it for what it is. We play as an investigator who has been tasked with solving these missing person crimes. The thing is, we are in way over our heads so we are learning as we are going. It can be kind of funny and ultimately, it all boils down to everyone wanting to bang everyone and I kind of just went with it and thought that it was ok, but a bit longwinded in some places.

Inquisitor Trainer has some amazing art. The game looks like an animated series or a comic book. It has a little bit of cinematic flair here and there and it truly is something that I thought looked great. This is the kind of game where the art is so good that I would happily look through a digital art book (or just the gallery of the game) and check it all out. I really appreciate what the artist has done here and from what I have read, Warhammer fans may not have been stoked about the story, but they love the character designs in this game.

The gameplay of Inquisitor Trainer is that of a lewd sandbox game and it is a very big one! This game is very challenging as there is so much for you to do. You have your lewd visual novel stuff of course, but there are stats that you have to grind, relationships you have to build, stuff you have to buy, and a combat system too. There is so much to do that it can be hard to know exactly what you have to do in order to progress. I ended up getting so stuck that I just talked to everyone that I could which turned the game into a bit of a slog if I am being honest.

Summary:

Inquisitor Trainer is a fanfic based on the cult universe spanning many millennia. This time, gamers will be able to enjoy a rather frivolous adventure with the main character. Who was sent very far from the central world so that she could find answers to the questions that arose. Several high-ranking officials disappeared on one of the planets. No statements, no bodies, no traces leading to the villains. What is happening? And who is behind it all? This is what the gamers' ward will have to find out. And, as you can easily guess, the investigation will immediately follow a non-standard and desired scenario.
