My Futa Family [v0.11] By DuckWorm

As I write this Futa Family is in early development, but there is some fun stuff here and the developer certainly has some neat ideas. This is a lewd RPG with a fun futa story and a kind of unique take on the whole futa thing that I am not sure I have seen before, to be honest with you. I have played through what is available as of writing and I think with just a few tweaks, this could be something really special. If anything, the developer is perhaps being a tad too ambitious and I think they could scale the scope of the game back a tad. If you like futa games, chances are you will enjoy what Futa Family is offering. The whole idea of two people trying to have a “normal” relationship with a futa mom trying to get in on the action is a lot of fun. I am very interested to see what the developer does here, but if I am being honest, I hope that they focus on the male main character as the female one is not as good. At the moment, I am thinking if they keep doing what they are doing an 8/10 is what I could see this game getting so that is what I will give it just now.

Just A Boy And Girl In Love

In Futa Family, we have two main characters a girl and a boy and the story takes place from both points of view. I think that the idea here was to try and give the player more content but to be honest, I kind of wish that the developer just went for one solid route as I found that things got a bit mixed up, like parts would cross and there were a few moments that did not make sense. Granted, the game is an early build and this could be addressed, but I would much rather have one good story focusing on one character.

In A Futa World

While I do think the execution of the story in Futa Family needs a bit of work, the premise is awesome and something that I feel is quite unique. In the story, our main boy and girl are just a regular boy and girl, they are not futa, but in the town they live in, everyone else is a futa! The boy and girl just want to have a “normal” relationship, but the futas in town have other ideas. Oh, complicating this matter is that the mother of the main character wants in on the action! This is fun stuff and I can see the potential here and I am very interested to see just where this rather quirky and original futa story goes.

Mommy Knows Best

On the surface, I guess you could say that Futa Family is more of the same when it comes to lewd games made with RPG Maker. You have a town to explore, the usual dungeons to fight in and many different quests to keep you busy. What I liked was that the mom was always with you and the mom will step in when you need help. This works great as it means that even when you lose in combat, you do not really lose. It is a bit on the basic side as far as the RPG gameplay goes, but what is here is not bad at all and I am interested to see how it progresses.

Futa Knows Best

I am really liking the art style of Futa Family. The mom futa is super hot and I like how she is a hot mom, but she just so happens to have a rather huge penis hanging between her legs. The little bit of lewd content that I have seen so far in this early build is great and I was happy to see that there was some nice and smooth animation. The game is played in your typical RPG Maker style, but the sprites here do have a lot of charm. Plus, the character portraits look awesome and help get the personality of the characters over.

I update every two weeks on patreon and try to add new h-scenes as consistently as I can.^^

This free version might be many updates behind depending on when you read this :p    So do know that many things might have changed and saved games might not be useable in the updated version.

I don't have a idea how big the scope will be once I'm finished , the goal right now is to build up the main storyline and then add the diffrent routs and endings.

I'm still learning and I hope I can get better with every update.

I’m DuckWorm, and here I want to write about myself and my plans for the “MyFutaFamily” project. If you wish to learn more about the game itself, please visit my Itch.io page.

You can also find the public version of the game there (one update behind) if you don’t feel like subscribing yet (Since it’s not safe to upload adult games for public on Patreon anymore).

Future:

I have a clear vision for the direction the game will take and it’s not just words. Currently, there are 200+ pages of overall description of the game’s plot (85% finished). Behind the scenes we have:

8 main heroines in total with an ending for each of them (I’m still thinking of implementing good and bad endings, but it looks too complicated so for now it’s just an idea.).

They not only have their personality, hobbies, habits, and stories written down, but their designs and costumes are already in my hands too.

Bunch of side characters with their own short stories. I have quite a few of these, but ultimately the main story is the priority, so the amount of side content will depend on my free time and your desire to see it.

It is my first project, but I want to show that I’m not just another indie dev with no plan whatsoever suddenly deciding he wants a quick cash grab after throwing together some Koikatu and Renpy stuff and publishing whatever sticks.

I have a definite end goal in mind. I’ve rewritten and reworked the first demo multiple times to reach the humble quality it has, but it’s a quality with which I can go all the way through without it dragging me down or giving me an itch to redo the whole thing mid-game.

…On the other hand, having a lot of preparation behind the scenes does not mean an easy time working on the actual final product. Updates may take 1 to 2 months.

Why 2 months? Well, the game might be non-linear but many events are actually connected to each other so if I make a faster and therefore smaller update, the player can lose the flow of the story or be cut off abruptly.

You can say that bimonthly updates deliver content that is hard to separate, or sometimes it’s an update that introduces new things (like a new character for example).

Also… I’m still inexperienced… Things take longer for me…

All in all, it’s a project born on passion and nurtured by dedication. I would love any feedback, but I don’t plan on sharing the reins of development with anyone. There won’t be polls about who’s update to make next or anything like that. I have no plans for a Discord server either (at least for now).
