Changelog:
Endings Added: School 3 Ending (This only triggers from the player getting to the School 3 mission. And deciding to either return to the toilets or not at all. The ending varies.) Returning to the toilets will trigger the animated School 3 afterschool toilet scene.
Ending fixed: Max Stats (Triggers automatically at the end of the game if Bryn has 10+ stats in all different H stats [Va/Or/Tj/An]).
Train 3 Mission made easier: Removed one of the two characters who would normally catch out the player, failing the mission.
Camping day event: Added a line of code which stops Bryn from being able to walk through -anything-.
Continue game after completion: I added an option for players to continue the game after it has come to an end.
Things not added! *Please read
I have two animated H caught scenes, with sound work. When trialling the new H-caught tech, it works well and is much simpler with less lines of code. But crashes for some reason when playing an animation (even though School 3 toilet scene works?). I've decided not to release these newly animated H caught scenes, as I didn't want to release and replace the old tech with something that crashes.
This does mean that the new caught graphics will not be implemented yet.
MAC Users: Due to my Mac not being able to support the game engine, I have tried to deploy it for Mac, but I cannot open it on my Mac as it seems to be an Intel application? I will deploy it at a later date on my Mac, but not for now. As much as I prefer a Mac, they're a pain in my backside to dev for. Anyway here's the Mega link for the MAC 'intel version'.
Going forwards:
Started to create the Graphics for our animator for the remaining 2 H Caught scenes. In all honesty, these complete will let me make the complete H Caught tech to replace the old one. As before I discovered the animations didn't work, it would be 2 new animations and 2 with the old CGs. So I'm kind of glad I didn't release it yet, it'll give me time to work out why it crashes.
When the new H Caught tech is done, the Stamina at night value will change. Instead of particular H events taking 1 or 2 away. They will now only take away 1 regardless of style. I will balance this with other stats and values closer to the time.
Recreating the intro, removing the gallery blackmail way. Got a nice little 'softer' approach with a hint of blackmail. CGs made for this already. Need to program and create new small maps.
Recreating the tutorial.
Refreshing the graphics to remove a lot of the older 'worse ai' ones.
Need to add the Baldman Ending and code some contingency timings of when he spawns, not to interfere with mainline day events, or near the end game timeline.
If you find any bugs! Please do report them to me so I can fix them.
Thank you for supporting us over the holidays! We have managed to support and pay our animator for 3 lots of animations, which is awesome!
Glad to now be back!
Reviews:
While the concept is great, the formula does need some work as having such a massive city while making you move so slowly would make the game become quickly tedious if it was bigger. the events i saw were great though, so I am excited for more. very good game, it’s has a lot potential development, even some people dislike using ai cg but, current situation make it’s worth to give it a shot, i hope to see faster development than manual drawing games.
Game looks pretty promising with an interesting goal, while it is still in demo i think it has quite the potential. Storytelling can always be improved but benefit of doubt will be given since its still extremely early on. Would be better if even more scenes are added and the game becomes more full fledged. Will be looking out for more in the future. Bryn’s Adventure” emerges as a defining force in the adult gaming realm.
