So, it's been exactly 3 weeks since the last post.

Let's change the mood with a positive post.

What is the current progress in FuzzBoob's DE: Remixed?

I continued working on the game until I had finished the new AI system.

It took a moment, but it works pretty nice.

How does it work? (compared to original)

In the original, it worked rigidly to a point of fault. All the character's AI was put in the AI Manager to save time.

This meant that it isn't scalable, to create a new AI i'd have to code them from scratch. The current system does contain glitches, which i'll list:

Viewing foxy run a bit too late causes the game to get confused, and treat her knocks as if you didn't view her.

Scripted sequences can glitch if you pause or tab out. These include:

Pausing before a jumpscare causes the game to softlock. You can't pause during a jumpscare, but the jumpscare timer doesn't pause as it is located outside of the scene tree.

Golden freddy could and does kill you if you run out of power while she is active (rare)

And there are some more micro-bugs related to this. For the most part, this may not be noticable and only affects small portions of the game. Regardless, some of these bugs are annoying.

The new AI system handles it by creating the AI classes as needed. So if foxy is active, her AI will be initialised into the scene.

All the timers are now handled by the individual AI classes within the scene. This means there is no pausing glitch or sequence breaking glitches.

Other progress.

Progress has been made in implementing the features in the Remixed update, which includes a few gameplay modifiers.

Some of them have been easy to made, as its simply adding a tiny bit of code into the classes.

There are some more larger features though that are more than just simple gameplay modifiers, but I will not spoil this.

What else is there left to do?

Class Dependencies Fixes

So there are dependency from the other classes that need to be fixed. Such as the Easter Egg Manager, the Time manager (As AI levels increase during the night), the main game manager (If the power goes out, it needs to communicate to the AIs that they're off now).

This doesn't take too long, I just need to make sure everything is fully working again.

New Optimisations

Since the game will feature more characters in Remixed, I have been working on optimising the game further. For example, the characters only load in their assets when they're needed, which the rooms communicate with the AIs.

This does mean I need to optimise the assets differently, so that they aren't loaded into ram when needed.

Since the game does run an android now, I need to focus on making sure it keeps running on most androids.

Godot Porting

I am porting this to the latest version of godot 4.3. The reason why is because there are many benefits in doing so, such as:

Single-Threaded web exports. This will make perfomance on the web version slightly worse as it won't be using multithreading, HOWEVER this will allow users on Mac and IOS to play the web version. I believe allowing those platforms to play outweighs the potential performance loss.

Improvements made towards asset compression, such as Sprite Atlases

Animator contains quality of life features to make godot animations. This is to promote longetivity of the game, and allow this framework to be used in case a new game is made.

What else has pudding's bakery been up to?

I have recieved a lot of requests for a while, alongside glazed, about creating merchandise for FuzzBoob's.

There has been attempts to sell merchandise in the past, with glazed getting assistance with someone to help make some merchandise, but as some may remember it had been rather rocky.

This has been upsetting for me to view. So I'm taking control in my paws.

note: this is my quick shitty rendition of glazed's foxy body pillow that we're making. it looks 20x better than this lmao

I am creating a merch store!

The past couple weeks have been me working towards getting this set up. With the help of DiiPoo, the platform for making custom merchandise, we can sell it with the goal of giving you guys affordable merchandise of your favourite characters. (Foxy is my favourite!)

While the prices are not confirmed just yet, we're planning on selling the Body pillow covers for roughly:

Yes, Five Nights at FuzzBoob's is a parody of the iconic series Five Nights at Freddy’s which is going to go even more mainstream later in 2023 when the live action movie drops! This is a series that I have had a ton of fun with over the years and it is crazy to think just how many lewd parody games of this franchise that there are! I have liked many of them and I think that this one here does a great job of pretty much just being a XXX version of what FNaF is all about.

If you are wondering what the story of Five Nights at FuzzBoob's is, let me first ask you a question. Have you played a Five Nights At Freddy’s game before? Well, if you have the story here is pretty much the same. We are the watchman and we are trying to make sure this erotic party place stays good. It is run by the ever so sexy Freddy Fuzzboob and her two girlfriends and let me tell you, they like to get a bit frisky! Trying to avoid getting ravaged by these big boobed furry babes is pretty much all the story is about here.

The visual style of Five Nights at FuzzBoob's is going to be something that either appeals to you a great deal or straight up turns you off. This is very much a “furry” game. I will admit, the whole furry thing has started to win me over more and more recently and this is a great looking game. Even if the furry thing is not usually your cup of tea, you have to admit that the art here is very well done. We have a few XXX scenes in the game that are done with a very cool cartoon style that I got a kick out of. The gameplay stuff is done in an office and it is like the FNaF series, but here it is all done in a more cartoon style. I think that they have done a good job in making it look like its own thing.

Gameplay wise, Five Nights at FuzzBoob's perhaps comes closer than any other lewd parody of Five Nights at Freddy's when it comes to the gameplay. This is a very, very similar experience where we are in the office and we must react when an alarm type thing goes off and do what we need to do. Surviving the night is the aim of the game here where these randy furries want to have sex with you. It is fun stuff, but I will say that you must be familiar with and enjoy the FNaF gameplay that has been well established over the years.

Final Thoughts:

In this place it is impossible to determine the line between reality and fantasy, but adults find solace there late at night. This is a paradise for adults where they can enjoy unique entertainment, enjoy delicious pizza and enjoy their favorite drinks. Fuzzboob’s Pizzeria Palace is just that place. However, the paradise of pleasure is closed to children.A visit to this palace wouldn’t be complete without meeting Freddy and her two companions: Bonnie FuzzBub and Chica FuzzBub. The animatronic characters promise to captivate and captivate you, taking you on an exciting and mysterious journey. From midnight to 6am, you play the role of the Summer Night Guard in Fuzzzboobs.
