Hello everyone, for those who only know me from Itch.io, I just wanted to let you know that this project is still very much alive and progressing as a breakneck pace. Every two months a new update gets released to improve and add to the existing content with the April update being particularly big.

Seeing as it's been nearly a year since my last dev update here on itch, I figured I would fill you in on what's new and to show you that we're still alive and kicking!

New CGs: With every update come new CGs and we're looking at over 50 Adult scenes now! Close to 60 even, but I haven't had time to implement all of them yet.  I'll show off a small sneak peak here in this update.

Main story: The main story has had a big update as well with you now being able to save the first three girls from the WAR corruption and a big reveal about El Presidente's past.

New social contacts: You'll be able to start your social link with Counselor Katey and Lola, with Sam the local goth girl having her own questline now. In the April update I plan to add Veronica as a social contact as well and continue Lola's personal story.

Holiday events: The Christmas and Halloween events have been overhauled during the Holidays. Meaning you can get excited for some holiday themed events in October and December. With the plan of adding additional events (Easter / Valentine's Day) in future updates.

Collectibles and Secrets: To spice things up a bit, I have also introduced new mini games and collectible fairy statues around the game now with more side content being planned in the future.

Wrapping up: All in all a lot has been done over the last nine months! For now I believe the DEMO here on Itch is still good enough to introduce new people to the game, but perhaps we'll start looking at possibly updating it in the future to include some of the new UI redesigns.

I fell in love with the story that Camp Mourning Wood was telling pretty much right away. Our main character is a dude called, El Presidente, the name by the way…. I hate it, it is the only thing I dislike here, it is just stupid. Anyway, we are being sent to this camp that is for girls, but the logic is that this will make our main character get their life on track. Well, as well as lots of sexy shenanigans going on, there are monster girls, a mystery to solve, and a bunch of weird stuff. I am telling you, I get major lewd Gravity Falls from the story here.

The story has a ton of charm to it and I had a lot of fun with it. However, Camp Mourning Wood also has a great selection of ladies that we get to interact with too and they are all very well written, the skater chick, Amber was my favorite. However, this is a very rare occasion where there was not a single love interest that I did not like. The characters and the story do not take themselves too seriously and I had a smile on my face for the whole time I was playing this.

One of the best compliments that I can give Camp Mourning Wood is that the gameplay is just right. There is grinding here, but it is never a chore and never feels unfair. The main questline is very easy to follow as the game keeps you on the right track. However, there is other stuff for more inquisitive and curious players to find if they are willing to click around just a bit more. It makes for a fun experience.

Look, you can tell from the still images that Camp Mourning Wood is a tremendous looking game! The animated style that they have gone for with this game gives it something of an MTV or Adult Swim style which I am a huge fan of. The girls look incredible and the game has some awesome lewd content, however, this needs fully animated sex scenes! There is some animation in the game and it is done very well, but fully animated sex scenes are probably my biggest want for the updates that are coming.
