The game’s story is about The day everyone feared, the day everyone hoped would never come, arrived in the form of a nuclear cloud. The government shelters, built to save and protect the lives of its citizens soon crumbled from overpopulation and lack of food. With no other choice, many tried to find another life by returning to the surface. Unfortunately for them, they traded a slow death from starvation for the painful death from radiation. These were the only options for those who survived so far… but not for you.

A Real XXX Fallout!

Ok, so you have probably already figured out that S.H.E.L.T.E.R- An Apocalyptic Tale is clearly a parody of the Fallout series. I have played probably at least a dozen lewd parodies of that series and this one really ranks up close to, if not at the very top. You pretty much do the kind of things that you would expect in a fallout game such as meeting other survivors, managing your shelter/base, exploring the wasteland for supplies, and so on. It's just this is all done with a very XXX twist!

Managing Your Settlement!

The premise of S.H.E.L.T.E.R- An Apocalyptic Tale is pretty much what you would expect. The world has been ripped apart and most of the things on the surface are dead or mutated to hell, but you are one of a group of lucky survivors that gets to call a “safe” underground shelter your new home. You are in charge of this place and it is up to you how you want to run things. The game is very story driven, but I would say the story is more about your relationship with the various characters that you come across than some big over arcing story, but I am more than ok with it. I found the game to have a bit of humor and satire about it too which I enjoyed.

Who Knew The End of the World Could Look So Good?

While I have played many Fallout parodies, S.H.E.L.T.E.R- An Apocalyptic Tale is easily the best looking one that I have played. I was shocked at how many great looking ladies that there were for us to try and hook up with! They are of all shapes and sizes to ranging from a super hot milf, a tight bodied tee, a mutated hottie, and everything in between! The game has a very slick animated art style to it that completely blew me away. It even has animated sex scenes of which there are a ton! I played through the game twice and got very few repeat scenes so that tells you how much content there is!

What we have here with S.H.E.L.T.E.R- An Apocalyptic Tale as far as the gameplay goes is a lewd visual novel and it is a fantastic one at that. You read the story and then make choices. There are what feel like a ton of choices to be made and at least ten different women that you can try and romance.

2. Experiment with Mutagens: Use radiation-altered items on allies cautiously—some mutations unlock overpowered abilities but may permanently warp their storylines.  

3. Save Before Final Encounter: The ending branches dramatically based on faction support, corrupted relationships, and undisclosed secrets discovered in late-game zones.
