What a great find. I’m not even sure how I cam across this game. Download the free to play map, which really is free, with no adds, and will keep you entertained for a good while. Having completed that I’d be surprised if you don’t pay for the full game like I’ve done. I wish more developers would do this...let us see the real thing without spending, then if it’s good, and this one really is, we’ll buy it. Probably the first iPad ‘snow’ game I’ve really enjoyed. The physics are good and I love the sense of freedom with loads of places to explore and challenges to find. In my younger days I loved the SSX snowboarding series on PlayStation for the same reason. This feels a bit like that, but without the ‘dudes’. I know this is going to be one of my favourite iPad games of all time. Wonder where it’s been hiding! Well done.

Iv gotten through all the maps but the extra dlc and its been on the whole really enjoyable. Specifically the the first few maps. But then because each map has progressively harder challenges they have to make them borderline impossible. Some don’t even require skill even at expert level, they just require you to grind it out over and over again by making them purposefully almost impossible. And what makes something “expert” or “hard” seems entirely arbitrary. I have completed some experts within minutes and some have taken literal months. Many challenges are just hard for the sake of it which seems like poor game design. If you’re the kind who won’t stop until you’ve 100% a game then this might not be worth it, as many of the challenges are just hard and not fun. When it’s good though it’s actually very enjoyable.

There’s pretty much no area where this game fails in my book.The developer came up with a clever way of controlling a skier that never feels clunky because of being done on a touch screen. This game features excellent controller support, but I don’t feel the need to use one because the touch controls are done so well.It can also be purchased for a one time payment, unlike the majority of mobile games out there. That’s a huge plus for me and many others.Apart from that, it’s just a very polished experience with camera, and audio controls, and a nice smooth frame rate.
