We play as the main character, Benjamin and we need a new assistant, our employee, James suggests that we give his wife a shot and it just turns out that James’ wife is smoking hot. Hey, we will give her a job, but we will make sure that she earns her overtime if you get what I am saying. Turns out that she is not enough and we soon start running rough shot through the whole family.

A Dude Who Takes What He Wants

The story of My Employee’s Family is a bit uneven. I had the most fun with it when I just embraced that it was like these women were just powerless against Benjamins' epic penis and would do whatever he wanted as long as they got it. However, the story in one of the later chapters tries to make sense of why all these women throw themselves at Benjamin and it just feels so unnecessary. The story being weird and making no sense was what made it fun and when they tried to rationalize it all, I must admit, it did kind of lose me a bit as I was having fun with how ridiculous it was.

Winning Me Back

While the story may have started to lose me the more I played, My Employee’s Family, the presentation certainly did not! Laura (James’ wife) is so hot, she has this rocking purple hair and the most epic set of boobs you will ever see. I liked how all the chicks in the game had a more “thicker” look about them and the sex scenes were a ton of fun and I felt that the game did not screw around and force me to wait too long until something lewd happened. For me, this ended up being one of those games that I was able to play through because I was so into the XXX content.

Getting To The Good Stuff

I liked how My Employee’s Family was a straightforward lewd visual novel and that the gameplay was simple and was not trying to be too clever if you get what I am saying. While you make choices as you progress through the game, I must admit, I found it to be quite linear as there was no real challenge here as it felt like Benjamin was going to get laid no matter what I did. Even with that being said, this game has a built in guide/walkthrough so if you do want to make sure things are going in the direction that you want them to be, it is very easy to do so as the game will hold your hand.

Office Politics:

My Employee's Family is one of those games that tries to balance simulation mechanics with narrative-driven gameplay. On paper, that sounds like an interesting concept. In practice, someone tried to create a hybrid business management sim and a dating sim but forgot to smooth out the seams. You're given a fair amount of control over your employees - deciding their work assignments, shaping their personalities, and, for some reason, influencing their relationships.

Customization is one of the big selling points, and to the game's credit, it does offer plenty of options. You can tweak employee traits, decide who works on what, and determine how personal entanglements unfold. This means that, theoretically, you can run an efficient, well-oiled business machine - or turn the workplace into a bizarre, sexy soap opera where everyone's personal lives are just as chaotic as their deadlines. So, basically, real life.

Visually, the game does a decent job. The character designs are convincing enough, and the UI is intuitive but nothing mind-blowing. It was designed by someone who enjoys sterile, corporate-friendly aesthetics. Still, it used a few anime influences to make the adult content more relatable. The sound design is equally functional, meaning it exists. Still, you'll mutate it in favor of your playlist within ten minutes.

The biggest issue is that while the game boasts multiple storylines and impactful decisions, it sometimes falls into the trap of making those choices feel superficial. Sure, you can influence relationships and steer the narrative. Still, many outcomes feel pre-determined, and the so-called "deep character development" sometimes comes off as a glorified list of checkboxes rather than meaningful interactions. Also, let's be honest - there's a fine line between immersive storytelling and accidentally creating a game where the boss is just a meddling puppet master playing God with their employees' lives.

The project is primarily aimed at purely explicit content, where the plot depends only on the general description of the situation in which the main character of the story will find himself.
