I will give this game 5 stars, mainly because how insanely good the art is. My compliments, I haven't played hundreds of hentai games yet, but this one is by FAR the most da Vinci looking game out there.I don't want to critique the gameplay or story too much, because it's still a work in progress. It's all fine, just needs more quests, scenes, and the dev understands it too. The early game looks great, feels fine, but could use more of that juicy art. late game needs a lot more art, it's out of balance with the amount of story. I wish I could clone the artist, and like make ten more of him, to make 10x the art in the game with all kinds of scenes.I wish this dev, the strength to endure the blisters on his fingers.. you are an extremely talanted artist, who can create magnificent pictures.

Despite this, the captivating visuals might still appeal to those who prioritize aesthetics over plot. It’s a mixed bag, but the artistry makes it worth experiencing.

First of all, please understand that I am writing this review using a translator because I am a user who plays in a non-English speaking country. Some people may find the story unpleasant, but I really liked it because I like stimulating elements such as drugs and NTR. (The routes are not necessarily all about corruption, and there is a general love route, so I think even people who don't like such stimulating things will be able to enjoy it. However, it is a bit unfortunate that other people are upset because of these stimulating elements. How about supporting the development process while respecting everyone's tastes? Just like I am not upset because there is a pure-love route, lol).

A very good and unique game. The artstyle is unlike most AVNs I've played. The story is interesting enough, although it sorta becomes a slog/gets lost in the sauce. Decent writing and humor though. I've seen way worse.This is one of the few games where I don't really mind the sandbox elements. Usually I dislike them, but in this game I think it's at least well executed. Locations on the map only reveal themselves to progress the story. In a way it kinda just plays like a regular VN, so it doesn't add much but it doesn't get too in the way either.The game features a lot of lewd content and characters, with each character getting an arc to shine. Great variety and animations, and again the unique art really stands out.Overall I would definitely recommend this game. I think the low-ish score has to due with bugs/crashes (which I didn't really encounter) or with some drama because this game plays like a harem but will not have a harem ending? Doesn't really bother me.

Developer Notes of Goodbye Eternity:

As promised, here is the January monthly update.

Why version 13.5 instead of 13.2? Quite simply because this is not a small update. The amount of content is far more significant than it may seem at first glance.

This update is not limited to the addition of a bad ending for Sakuya. It also includes several months of optimization work so that the game finally runs the way it should. Slowdowns are gone, and performance gains are massive (we’re talking about more than +1000%). The difference will be immediately noticeable in-game.

Another important point is a small overhaul of the UI and the route selection system. I recently played Dispatch, and I was genuinely inspired by their interface work: minimalist, clean, and efficient. The presentation is now much more visual, making it easier to clearly distinguish one route from another and improving overall readability.

The descriptions for Asami may surprise some of you. They reflect the direction I intend to take for the upcoming rework of her routes, so consider this a small preview of what’s to come.

Finally, the cherry on top: freeroam. I know this aspect has frustrated some players, and I understand why. Having freeroam when there is only a single main narrative thread doesn’t offer much value on its own. However, this is part of a long-term vision: the future addition of side quests tied to specific characters, which will require stepping outside the main storyline to unlock exclusive scenes.

With this in mind, a new option has been added: from the hint window, you can now jump directly to the next event with a single click.

This feature is entirely optional, you’re free to use it or continue exploring the world at your own pace.

As for Sakuya’s bad ending, it occurs very early in her route. You will have two opportunities to refuse to obey her and assert that you alone decide your own destiny. If you continue down that path... I’ll let you discover the outcome for yourself.
