Another day, another release.

As always, we're very slowly moving along. It's not quite where I feel comfortable yet, but it's getting there. Here are the new things:

+ 9.3k~ new words (total: 119.3k)

+ 3 CG sets (total: 37)

+ 1 lewd scenes (total: 12)

Just like His Bet, Her Loss, I applied the fixes that I think should help performance by a lot. I also added an option in the settings to lower the quality of the live2d sprites, if you have issues rendering it. I didn't upscale the old animations though. There are quite a lot of them, and I don't have the time right now. I'm upscaling new animations though, so that if I want to go back and upscale the older ones later on, it will be more feasible.

The story, well, I don't necessarily have anything to say about it. This project has always been the one I question the most. Mainly because I don't quite understand the appeal of Mom NTR.

I'll simply leave it at that for now. We still have The Edge Of and APBLU – Aya Edition coming out later this month… and I need to start working on those.

The story was dumb and some of the updates were disappointing.But I prefer the homogenous art style (sure, it allows APBLU to have way more content but there is such a disparity between every art style that a potentially good scene can be "ruined" by a weaker artist - or should I say one I'm not a fan of), the context and the focus on one character who has my favorite design out of all his game (mostly, that's why I'm not a fan of the last update).

Can we all finally agree that it's the dumbest game designer decision to have multiple perspective choices which are one specific perspective or all perspectives and NOT HAVE AN OPTION FOR EACH OF THE SPECIFIC PERSPECTIVES?!? What the hell is even the point then?? I couldn't give less of a shit what anyone else's thoughts in that situation are, I want to witness the story from one perspective that isn't the one being cucked...Seriously, it's right there. I loved the first game this developer made BECAUSE IT HAD THAT OPTION. God damn it... I wouldn't be this annoyed by this if it wasn't so god damn common. If the devs want to make a game with one perspective or all perspectives, that's fine, that's how they want to tell the story. But fuck this middle ground bullshit.

I thought "A promise best left unkept" was mediocre at best, but I'm not going to pass on a title with potential just because of my dislike of their prior game. The art is fairly unique and it's hard to go wrong with milf characters -- certainly a more interesting storyline, at least.Roughly how much content is in this current version? I'd like to know if this is good enough to play as is, or if it's one of those games that we'll have to wait a couple of years for anything substantial.
