Gameplay Tips 

You can eat at least one meal in the kitchen each day to gain some free stats (energy, health, and stamina vary depending on what you eat).

You can only sleep for 1 hour and 3 hours each, twice a day. Use this wisely when looking for activities.

Some events require specific stats for you and your chosen character. That is, you might need a certain level of alertness and/or a specific character trait.

Some activities require "mood" boosters in the form of pills; many Becky-related activities currently require "pink pills." These pills can be obtained by embracing unhealthy habits and purchasing pink pills from Lisa at the bar at 10 PM.

Many topics can be found on the computer; isn't the internet amazing?

When having a conversation, the ideal ratio is two topics they like plus one topic you're trying to steer them towards. (Unless you find a topic they really like and can steer them towards two topics, remember, you need to gain positive points for it to be worth your time!)

Still struggling to find topics? Consider buying some items to fill the gaps; remember to put them in the topic section of your bedroom.

Giving gifts is entirely optional for some characters; give it a try. It might help you advance.

Loser v0.09.00 Released!

Although it's a bit later than planned, I've finally released this update. You'll see why it took so long in the changelog below!

Changelog : What's New?

New Becky AT = Pretty obvious. However... the hair color change took a lot of time. This meant I had to redo all her party scenes with the new hair color.

New Diane AT = Pretty obvious. Diane's "Vanilla Route" is now over. Once I finish reversing the changes and get Diane back to her fashionable/healthy-nut self (next update), I'll hold a vote to decide Diane's next path.

Diane Sex Minigame = Just like the sex minigames that are usually added at the end of Cornerstone AT.

New System: Expandable Actions = I've always wanted to add some actions that allow you to move common-tagged activities to less common-tagged activities, and this is one way I thought of doing it. It's also a good way for players to better manage their time.

New System: Passive Income = Your passive income (if any) will be processed every Monday at 00:00. See below for details.

New System: Social Media Profiles = A new button will appear on the character page that will open the character's social media profile if they have one. Not all characters have social media profiles.

New System: Room Upgrades = Rooms can now be upgraded, and this is an ongoing process, and requires specific other systems to function.

New System: Spy Cameras = To allow jerk players to play jerk characters, I've now added the ability to install spy cameras as a room upgrade.

New Expandable Action: Park Cleanup = Tired of those "tidying" and "housework" activities filling up your temporary activity list? Now you can convert them to eco-friendly activities with a whole new set of tags.

New Expandable Action: Profile Hacking = If you want to dig deeper into someone's online profile... like viewing their private messages or tracking their less-than-savory activities... with hacking skills and the right tag selection, you can see what else this person is up to online...

New Expandable Action: Day Trading = If your investments aren't growing fast enough, one way to increase growth is to spend time day trading.

New Passive Income: Stocks = You can now invest money in a stock account on your computer, which will generate income weekly. How much income depends on the amount invested, how long you hold it, and whether you've done any day trading to boost its value. New Passive Income: Video Hosting = With the introduction of spy cameras, it would be a shame not to monetize this content. Now you can! Visit OldEgg and purchase a server to upload your own videos.

New Social Media Profile: Becky = As with all new systems, I'm starting with one character to introduce it, then expanding over time. Since this system requires a lot of backstory, I'll be rolling out social media profiles in several updates. Since this update focuses on Becky, she seemed like a good starting point.

New Spy Camera Location: Becky's Bedroom = For the same reasons as above, I'm introducing this system in Becky's room first, as I need to render specific old scenes from a set camera angle... and so on... More rooms will come in future updates.

Expanded Tech Skills = Some of these new systems will require tech skills, and to accommodate this, I've added a "Research Computer" action to the computer, which will help you gain XP and unlock topics.

New Skill: Hacking (Early Development) = While it's been on hold in the game engine for a while, I've finally started building the actual functionality. There are two ways to unlock this skill: either your tech level is high enough, or you gain some knowledge points by researching the computer.

Refactored Schedule Engine = I've been planning this for a while. As the game grows, old systems that worked well in a smaller game become too cumbersome. The old schedule system is a good example. I initially designed a location-specific event system, then a character-specific event system, then a prototype-specific schedule system, and the latest iteration is a prototype-specific schedule event system. Long story short... this makes it easier to design character schedules and find/fix schedule issues.

Is that it?

Yes... unfortunately... I originally planned to use Gina AT in this update, and maybe even Jesse and Jay AT, but the first three weeks of the development cycle were delayed due to issues with Nvidia's driver release, and then the holidays threw everything off schedule. That's why this update has so much content unrelated to AT. I needed to do something while Nvidia fixed the bugs and re-rendered everything.

That said... the next update will only have one major project: a complete overhaul of the inventory system, making it clickable and draggable. This will give me plenty of time to work on Gina's next AT and her backstory, Diana's backstory leading to Cosmo/Health Nut, a new Becky AT, and a new Jay AT. And if time permits, maybe Jesse too.

I don't want to ask this here, but can someone tell me how to find a topic to increase "morality"?

Don't take advantage of drunk women; once you have level 1 morality, you can accept it and use church-related topics in conversations.

Jesse has 40 hobbies? Dude, that's impossible! She sent 3 messages during one orgasm, and somehow I can't get her to appear after the scene with Charlene, even though the male lead didn't ejaculate. There's so much friction, and the Night City production is awful.

To give Ren'Py superpowers, I open the file and change the experience points needed for leveling up from 10 to 4 (remember, it's 10 multiplied by 2^x, where x is the new level). I usually also increase the experience gained from classes, etc. For this, I use a program called Cheathappens. After I level up a skill the first time, and then again, I change it from around 5 to around 93, so it levels up again in one or two more levels. I plan to keep learning Unity so I can make my own cheats... sigh.

Also, I should go back to using the "Another Dance" cheat in my old SP. That way I can play all the dance endings at once without reloading anything.

Yes, the problem is, the developer seems to get really angry if someone tries to cheat. For example, he named the save file "eat.shit" or something, and modified it so it can't be edited with an online save editor. Now even Asset Studio can't seem to view the newly added images; I wonder if that's related to the developer.

Honestly, I respect your decision on how to make the game. But specifically telling people who don't like this grindy quest stuff to "fuck off" and wasting time and energy bothering them, time and energy that could be spent on the game, seems petty to me.

One way is to unlock morality and get permanent topics. You should be able to increase morality by consistently not harassing others.

I've gotten +6 morality points several times, but it doesn't show any progress in the status bar. Is this a bug or normal?

I remember I had to accumulate quite a few points before it showed up in the skills. I guess it will show up around 60 points. I'm not entirely sure about the exact numbers.

Repeating the same thing a hundred times is driving me crazy. I'm completely done. I like the game, but your players have some issues. Seriously.

As far as I know, the church topic doesn't work for Gina because it also involves immoral content, which is a taboo subject for her.

Luckily, it's actually quite easy if you know how to edit the save file. They're kind of "case-sensitive" (I can't find a better word to describe it), so you can only change skill and money values within certain limits. Numbers between 0 and 9 can be changed, but not to 10 or higher. From 10, you can change to 99, but not to 100. From 100, you can change to 999 (and there are other limits)... For me, figuring out what you can edit is one of the most interesting parts of the game ^^
