We live in a crazy universe… vast and boundless… full of wonders… and horrors. Amidst this chaos, even… sensual encounters can occur! Hello everyone, welcome to this week's progress report.

Level Design:

Our work this week focused on level design, finalizing materials, textures, and functionality to achieve the game's final look. We're also continuing to develop the concept art for Area A of the Sky Village, and this week we started focusing on the interior design of the buildings.

Code:

This week, we did more work on the combat arena, adding a new scene specifically for testing player-vs-player combat. We also made significant progress on the underlying codebase.

Characters:

This week we finalized the new Arac model, and it looks truly terrifying—you definitely wouldn't want this monster to jump out at you from a dark corner of a cave! We also finished the new harem outfit, which, while still needing to be ported to several other characters, is a great addition to our existing wardrobe.

Animation:

In animation, we achieved a small milestone this week: transferring all ranged weapon animations to the character skeletons that use them. We're steadily progressing on transferring animations for all melee weapon types and their moves. We also added a wild bull mini-boss to the arena for combat testing. Cutscenes were further optimized, and this week we're working on the Wisdom Cave scene.

Design:

This week, our work focused on character progression, specifically damage calculations, the armor system, and its numerical values.

We also started developing a system to define most enemy attributes based on level, streamlining the editing workflow.

We finalized the first iteration of the lizard combat AI and enemy placement in Adûn, as well as the design for a few remaining interactive elements, such as ore veins that can be mined with a pickaxe, and hidden treasures that can be dug up in the game world.

We're also replacing all furniture in the game world with appropriate interactive objects, such as chairs and benches.

Finally, we completed the first iteration of player skills, which are unlocked through leveling up, and are currently working on the corresponding GUI. However, not all skills are unlocked in the menu; some can only be learned from trainers found in the game world.

I didn't expect to get any recognition, and I'm 99% sure I'll see a comment asking if we can make the spider addictive, so thank you. No problem. Can we smash it? Before anyone screams, imagine a woman turning into a spider. *cough* (Horror sex?):D -> :'D -> :O -> :o -> :i -> :x - One suggestion is to start the game on a higher difficulty; nothing's worse than a game that's too easy. If I killed the boss on my first try, I'd honestly be disappointed. :heart: - Since I've been bothering Steve about this from the beginning, when are we getting centaurs? Okay, okay, but how about bat kupa-lis? That would fit in the game, you did mention caves! That could actually be a really cool kupa-li, and great for a tomboyish lady who swoops down to fight/save you. You'll know exactly what will happen if you win. *cough* A lot of people are happy with me.

First of all, the scenery looks great. My favorite part is learning that the sky village is getting much-needed renovations and repairs. But the spider? Just looking at it, I don't blame anyone for having arachnophobia. That thing definitely looks like something to be feared.

It's amazing that in a world with such beautiful things (including beautiful characters) there are also terrifying things like spiders :D. Such a contrast.

Great job, guys! Just wondering, will the next update add more foliage and landscape options to the sandbox?

This is the only Patreon worth $10. I upgraded to $25 a long time ago, and seeing the development reports and community-made custom maps is awesome. Sure, it's an adult game, but it's definitely the best community for maps, custom characters, and the development team!

Why does it have to be a spider? :( The model is great though. I don't blame you, I looked at it and said, yeah, that's going to trigger some arachnophobia.

The new outfit looks like Kitana from Mortal Kombat 9. Are you going to do Jade and Mileena from Mortal Kombat 9?
