Why did you create an unofficial port of a visual novel based on RPGM?

The main reason is that we needed to get back into work mode after a two-month break while waiting for the "Manila Shaw" update.

Since the original game's release, there have been requests for a port, and now that I have some free time and no other projects to work on, I decided to give it a try.

RPGM is really not suited for visual novels. It lacks a save system, and the more images in a scene, the more VRAM the game requires.

Each chapter contains a large number of images, meaning that if your computer isn't powerful enough, playing this game will take a lot of time and could even crash your computer.

With this port, you can enjoy the game and save at any time.

Red Room was created before the Ren'Py version of Shadows of Desire, so some people may not even know it exists. Now is a good time for them to experience it.
