Alto’s Adventure

Strategies:

Upgrade the coin magnet first: Alto's Adventure has a few different powerups such as the coin magnet and a hover board. The coin magnet lets you collect coins near you, even if you don't pass through them. You will need coins to upgrade your powerups - such as to make the magnet's power last longer. We suggest that you upgrade it to maximum first so you can collect more coins per run and upgrade other items.

After the coin magnet, save up for the wingsuit: The next item on your purchase list should be the Wingsuit. This lets you glide over the snowy landscape of Alto's Adventure. Yes, you will be flying for a short while once you enable the Wingsuit. The more tricks you perform, the longer your character's scarf is. When it's at its longest, the Wingsuit button will appear on screen. You can use this to get out of a tricky elder chase or to chain your tricks.

Chain your tricks: In Alto's Adventure, each trick in a combo bumps up the multiplier by one count. If you manage to finish off a long grind with an insane triple backflip and adding a Wingsuit flight right at the end, you are looking at a 10,000-point combo. Each of those tricks individually don't result in many points, but combine them and you have a massive score.

Maya is the best: We aren't going to spoil the game for you by revealing each of the characters and their special powers, but until you can reach level 51, Maya (level 11) is going to be the best character for most challenges. She finds it hard to pick up speed, but is really fast at backflips. We tried all other characters until level 51 and found that Maya's fast flips make a big difference. After level 51, you'll unlock the best Alto's Adventure character. We won't reveal the name or the character's powers. Play the game and find out for yourself.

Alto’s Adventure

Player Comments:

In this gorgeous twist on the infinite runner, you guide an agile snowboarder down anever-ending mountain, pulling off backflips over icy chasms and grinding along rooftopsin sleepy villages. Simple one-finger controls make it instantly accessible, but tacklingeach level's trio of challenges requires deft reflexes. With its exquisitely rendered visuals, soothing music, and finely tuned gameplay, Alto's Adventure is simultaneously sereneand exciting.

I've seen a couple reviews about the wingsuit activating and deactivating randomly. Let'sclear that up. The wingsuit is toggled through 3D Touch, so when you press hard on thescreen it toggles it. There's also a setting under Settings to turn this behavior off. Therewill also be a button on the right side of the screen that also toggles it, so turning off thesetting will not stop you from using the wingsuit. (The wingsuit is available after level 30,so if the setting isn't there when you start, maybe it'll appear once you unlock thewingsuit.)I wish Snowman would reply to the reviews to clear their name, but it doesn'tlook like that will happen. That being said, of course I think Alto's Adventure is a beautifulgame. I'm not usually very fond of arcade-like games, but this one has stuck with me fora long time. You've probably already heard of the graphics/artwork. It's also a well-polished game and feels good to play, especially with friends. Look out for new games bySnowman because the previews on their website look good. Development for thosegames was probably funded by this game's sales.

Probably the best iPhone game ever. Sure it costs 4.99 but there are no IAP or ads.Relaxing game with intuitive interface, easy controls, beautiful soundtrack, and beautifulgraphics. Only a couple suggestions: 1. Either make items in the Workshop cheaper oradd a "coin multiplier" item. This would be a gold star which would spawn like magnets orfeathers, and maybe could multiply your coins for a duration. The duration could beupgraded in the shop. These would make the process of getting items cheaper, as it canbe kind of annoying to grind for 20 minutes for a helmet that you would waste within thenext 5 minutes. 2. Give Izel more special items than just a rocket snowboard. Thecharacter says she has a "few special prototypes" but in-game there is only one uniqueitem. 3. Fix some visual bugs. Sometimes, when crashing at high speeds, the characterseems to freeze and hover a couple feet above the ground, which looks really weird.Other than these suggestions I think you have created a truly beautiful game. Keep upthe good work Snowman!

Conclusion:

Alto’s Adventure invites players to join Alto and his friends on an endless snowboarding journey through stunning alpine landscapes, ancient woodlands, and quaint villages. Players will rescue llamas, grind rooftops, and navigate unpredictable weather while mastering a simple yet challenging trick system. The game features beautifully dynamic visuals, handcrafted goals, and six unique snowboarders, each with special abilities. With a focus on fluid, physics-based gameplay, players can compete for high scores and experience an immersive soundscape, making it a captivating blend of art and adventure.
