After Dark is a casual game that blends horror and romance elements. Players take on the role of Minecraft, whose life, plagued by nightmares for over a decade, undergoes a transformation in his final year of high school. An encounter with a mysterious figure changes everything. Players will not only meet beautiful women with diverse personalities and become involved in various events, making choices to advance the plot, but also delve into Minecraft's past to recover his memories and reach different endings. Furthermore, as the game progresses, players can have intimate interactions with their favorite women, unlocking corresponding animations and gradually building their own harem.

After Dark aims to blend immersive storytelling with rich character development, psychological depth, and diverse adult themes. Below are the planned additions and features:

Expanded Narrative Arcs: Delve deeper into the protagonist’s past, unlocking forgotten memories and uncovering the mystical figure’s true intentions. Explore branching paths that offer multiple endings based on your choices.

Dynamic Sandbox: The game features  a day and night cycle, where your choices during different times of the day affect interactions, character availability, and events. Certain storylines and activities will only occur at specific times. at specific locations!

Romantic Routes: So far Izra has the most content available in her route. Whoever is voted in the discord and Patreon will be what route we do next!

Psychological Horror: After Dark is a horror game as much as it is a Dating simulator. Play at your own risk!

This is a small  follow-up update to After Dark 0.24.1, addressing several issues and adding new fan content.

Fixed a bug where background music would randomly continue playing after events ended.

Pierre and June’s nameboxes have been corrected.

Fixed Kyra’s event repeating after completion.

This update mainly focuses on stability, bug cleanup, and polishing up small details that improve immersion.

Initial review (whats left of it at least): Models Looked great honestly which makes me sad that I cant see anything past what is basically the first story mission. CO: get 5 strength (i have 39 now), introduce yourself to your class ( I have talked to everyone at every-time in every location, even out of class but still in school), Talk to Kitsune at night (she just says the same thing about working out).Update 1: I can progress now that I have given a second attempt after calming down a bit. My main issues are with 2 specific things right now. Doing anything in the school is a chore. Navigating is ok to an extent but I found out there are not clearly marked things to enter and move around to in the school not on the quick nav menu. Things I only found my swiping the mouse across the screen repeatedly to scan. (FIX: add every location to the quick nav menu).My main issue is still knowing what to do. The "Story" section in my eyes at this moment should not exist. it holds no useful information and can just be a portrait of the playable character in the "Quest" menu instead of its own separate menu. Everything useful is in the quests area. This is where it becomes a tiny rant.

I love the writing, and the very diverse cast combines with that to make this an easy five stars from me. Still definitely in the early stages, and I hope the supernatural stuff ends up meshing well with the more mundane school life and people well. The cast definitely seems plenty large as it is- I hope the dev prioritizes more stuff for the current characters over adding too many new ones.

So far, it’s one of the best VNs I’ve played! It is kind of short right now, so I recommend waiting for a few more updates. The story is so good that it left me hanging, and I’m eagerly waiting for more as soon as possible. I genuinely felt sad after realizing I reached the end of the current main story. All the love interests are amazing, from their models to their writing! I definitely recommend this one if you like harem VNs with a little bit of an edgy story!
