One of the most challenging and thought provoking mystery games I've played! Thepuzzles take some time to figure out but I went out on a limb a couple of times in mythinking and it was exactly the answer to the puzzle or math problem! Almost had to sendone math problem to my daughter( who is a high school algebra teacher) to solve for mebut this is where I went out on a limb to figure it out and it was right! The last puzzle ofthe game! I only had to use2 hints, which if I wouldn't have been so impatient I couldhave eventually figured them out. Two thumbs up for this game and the developer! this app is great for the most part, except for two different clues. the first is in level three,when you get the necklace from behind the picture and hang it on the wall to show thelight reflect different colors and shapes. mine showed clear as day, the blue octagon,green circle, and yellow diamond. i plugged that into the mini game on the next screenand it was not working. i finally gave in and looked at a walkthrough which shows bluesquare, green diamond, yellow circle. itried that instead and it worked. second is in level5, when you arrange the symbols that the man has on his arm on the door to unlock it. iagain had to look up a walkthrough to see the correct order of symbols because theywere in a different order on the man's arm than they ended up being to complete thegame. that was very frustrating, but other than that, great game!

Just kidding. I enjoyed most of this game, it is very challenging without being totallyfrustrating. That is until you get to the weird math problems. Seriously...who figuresthese out on their own? Also, playing this on an iPad I discovered one of the mathproblems, the one with the triangles, had one of the numbers covered by something likea hint button. The math puzzles are very convoluted. Also, The screen is so dark makingit impossible to find some of the clues and I had to use a walkthrough. I loved theadorable monster in the attic. There were also lots of things Iliked but I feel those itemsmentioned need to be addressed. I will play more of your games. Thanks for making themavailable at no cost.

Walkthrough of Scary Horror Escape:

Pick the crowbar.

Approach the prison cell on the left.

Use the crowbar to expand the space between the bars.

Take the knife.

Use the knife to open the bag. There is the lighter in the bag but it’s stuck. You will take it later.

Approach the fuse box.

On the fuse box, you have a clue for the code of the lockpick of your cell. Each triangle has a number in Roman numerals representing two digits for the code. The first is 16, the second is 40. To calculate the third 2-digit number, sum 9 (IX) with 2 (II), then this sum is multiplied by 6 (VI). The formula will be: (9 + 2) * 6 = 66, so the last two digits of the lockpick code are 66.

Approach the lock of your cell and input the code from the triangles: 164066.

Exit your cell and approach the spider on the wall.

You would need that lighter from the bag to get rid of the spider, but you can’t take it yet. Pick the first aid kit detail (detail that looks like a snake around the cup). It is next to the spider, on the right.

Open the first aid kit with the detail you just got. Pick the acid from the kit.

Approach the trash and use the acid to kill the maggots. Move the trash away until you find the Chinese chopsticks. Pick it up and return to your cell room (click on the grey circle on the bottom left whenever you want to return to the previous location).

Use the Chinese chopsticks to get the lighter from the bag.

Return to the spider and scare it away with the lighter.

After the spider is gone, you will have a new puzzle. You need to rotate several tiles to get the word “HELP“. Once you complete the puzzle, a hole will appear containing a key to the fuse box. Take it and go back to your cell room.

Approach the fuse box and unlock it with the key. Use the switch next to the fuse box to turn off the power and pick another key from the fuse box.

Return to the spider area and unlock the door with the new key. Proceed through the door to enter the Room 2.
