Welcome to Hell is a fantasy-themed, story-driven casual game where players take on the role of an MC whose life is turned upside down after an unexpected incident on their journey home. Players and their girlfriends will encounter various fantastical races and become embroiled in various events and crises. Making choices will drive the plot forward and influence the fates of those around you. Will you ultimately achieve a happy ending? Each character in the game has their own storyline and backstory. Players will delve into the personalities and secrets of different girls, engaging in deep conversations to unlock various exciting scenarios.

Changelog:

Last week, I didn’t post an update because I was fully focused on speeding up scene construction. Renderings are progressing quickly, and we already have about 1,000 fully completed images! Right now, I’m working on a complex scene that involves some characters who haven’t appeared for a while… So expect to see them again very soon!

MC vs. Joshua Fight

One of the big highlights of this chapter is that MC’s fight against Joshua will be entirely shaped by your faction choice!

If you’re Anarchist, your training was with Alice Tribell.

If you chose to be Independent, you were trained by Robert and Brunus.

If you stayed in the Society, your mentor was Benjamin Malky.

This means that each route will have not only different dialogues but also a unique battle outcome! This requires a lot of renderings and production time, but it will ensure a richer and more dynamic experience.

And there’s more: the fight will conclude with a cinematic scene over 1 minute long!

The Crowley Mansion Conflict

In addition to MC’s battle, the vampires vs. werewolves showdown at Crowley Mansion will also reach its climax in this chapter. Your previous choices will play a major role, especially when it comes to Rebecca and Carmilla.

I hope you’ve made wise decisions, because we’re now heading into the final stretch of W2H’s second season, and your actions will start to weigh heavily on your shoulders…

Impactful Moments in Chapter 08

Beyond the major battles, we’ll have emotional scenes featuring several characters:

Lily and Samantha searching for answers;

Katherine facing a member of the Council of the Seven Elders;

Emily making a life-changing decision...

And a lot more that I’m not revealing yet! I want you to be surprised when you play!

I know 2024 was a year of remakes, but now, in 2025, the focus is on finishing the second season with three brand-new chapters packed with content!

When Will Chapter 08 Be Released?

I’m not giving a specific date yet because I’ve learned from past mistakes. But we are already in the final stretch of renderings (the chapter will have around 1,500+ images), and after that, I still need to work on the cinematic animations, which require a lot of frames.

Progress is moving well, so don’t worry—each week brings us closer to release!

Will There Be Hot Scenes?

Yes! As always, Welcome to Hell will have hot moments, but this chapter won’t focus solely on that. However, at least two intimate relationships involving the MC will take place.

And if you made the right choices, you might finally get that special moment with the character you’ve been waiting for!

While the plot itself is a five-star inferno, the lack of substantial decision-making leaves you feeling more like a bystander on this infernal rollercoaster than a demon architect of your own fate. Sure, you get presented with occasional crossroads, but they often feel more like flavor variations than truly impactful choices shaping the narrative's core. This, sadly, leaves a yearning for more agency, a desire to truly steer your character's path through the underworld's treacherous landscape. Imagine if the crossroads were more frequent and consequential. Imagine pivotal moments where your decisions ripple outward, altering alliances, igniting conflicts, and even rewriting your ultimate destiny. This deeper level of engagement would elevate Welcome to Hell from a captivating spectacle to an unforgettable, personalized odyssey. Furthermore, allowing the player to have a greater impact on the story's direction could unlock even richer character development. WTH is one of my favorite stories. From the first update to the last update, you can see how it has improved in quality. You will see plenty of characters in some games, but most of them are just shells. But when it comes to WTH, the abundance of characters is a wealth because the developer has given reality to each of them with their weaknesses and differences. I can't wait for the continuation of this fantastic story.

Wow, this might one of the best stories i´ve ever read here! Yes, the english is not the best.... who cares, i am german and i can understand enough. The animations are not good... true, but i don´t care and i am sure they will improve as the dev gets better hardware. The renders are not top.... again: who cares? They will improve (and already did).I am seriously amazed by this unique story. I am only in the beginning of chapter 5 but i can´t stop reading. There are only two games with a better (imo) story and these are Summers gone and Leap of faith, wich are a class of their own.Kudos to the dev and for sure i will support him on patreon.
