Fantastic Characteristics of Interloper

The game features a variety of cutscenes and music styles.

Some music is live, while others is computer-programmed. The music is diverse, ranging from classical pieces to more contemporary works. Most of the visual assets were generated using artificial intelligence. That said, I may have chosen a more challenging and ambitious path in terms of art direction. AI has its pros and cons. My vision for this story should gradually unfold in later chapters of the game.

I want to prove that AI doesn't mean laziness or a lack of inspiration; quite the opposite, with the right art direction, it can create something truly unique and unprecedented. That's my goal.

Don't expect perfection, but expect something interesting and unique.

Audio and Music

There are a total of 13 musical tracks, most of which will be included in this album.

Except for one, the rest were created specifically for this story.

If you read the first version, you'll recognize some of them, but these have all been updated (except for one).

Despite so much music, I want to protect your ears—I don't think it's a constant barrage of music.

Perhaps it's still too much for some.

It includes ambient sound loops and some sound effects.

Some of these sound effects were recorded by myself, while others were from software like VST (Virtual Instruments).

It's worth mentioning an old mandolin in my collection. It effectively creates a terrifying sound similar to opening a piano lid and plucking multiple strings simultaneously.

I wanted to record more outdoor ambient sounds, but my handheld recorder broke (one of the condenser microphones was faulty), and buying a new one is too expensive for me now.

This is a Zoom H4n, which I've found to be working perfectly—and has been in use for about ten years.

The fireplace sound was recorded at home using a studio condenser microphone.

Interface/Graphical User Interface

I've made several modifications during the project's development.

It's now larger and easier to read.

The interface may still have room for improvement, and I may make further modifications.

I get annoyed by unfriendly user interfaces.

But… after doing something like this, I now understand how much effort it takes to create everything.

As mentioned before—don't expect perfection.

I will continue to listen to constructive feedback, and if I agree with the suggestions and can implement them, I will make the necessary changes.

That being said—rewriting the prologue and Chapter 1 almost ruined the project.

Don't expect major rewrites later, as this is something I've never been very good at.

The section after the house in Chapter 2 may be expanded.

You may see a chapter selection screen when Chapter 3 is released.

User's Comment of Interloper

First of all, I really like Sam and I really enjoy the game. I've seen some comments and wanted to share my own thoughts because my feelings are somewhat different from others. My mindset is almost the complete opposite of the protagonist's—this isn't a complaint, because you can't expect your characters to be *everyone*. They have to be *someone*, and sometimes that person isn't you (or me). It can be disappointing or even frustrating when the protagonist is so different, but I accept that. There's no easy solution to this problem, and I'm sure many people will resonate with the protagonist. I have many friends who are very similar to the protagonist, and some people definitely feel that way… and there's nothing wrong with that.

I'll fully support you as long as you're satisfied with your work! (Don't worry too much about perfection.) I'm just worried you might make too many changes to please everyone. Whatever your final decision, I'm looking forward to your next project.

(Also, I'd like to add that the AI's style really fits the game's dream/transitional state setting perfectly. Not just Sam, this game is both a nightmare and a beautiful dream.)

This is a fantastic visual novel.

So far, I really enjoy this visual novel! Sam is both adorable and protective, and the character is wonderfully developed. However, I only have two things I'm not entirely satisfied with: the pacing of the romance and the adult scenes involving goat creatures. I felt the relationship between the protagonist and Sam developed a bit too quickly. Also, the protagonist's complete lack of resistance on that night at the "bar" felt strange to me. I think that part of the story should have been more heartbreaking than it appears. The visuals are both eerie and unique, and I love the plot and setting! I can't wait to see more!

A brand new orc visual novel with photorealistic graphics. The story features multiple choices that may or may not affect the plot. It includes explicit scenes, horror elements, and scenes dealing with sexual assault themes.
