Walkthrough of Poppy Playtime Chapter 5:

AFTER THE ELEVATOR: Move through the grey door in the corridor on the right, interact with the switch on the right to turn on the nearby lamp.Go back and you'll notice a small monster running through the door on the right. Follow it through the open door and turn on the light ahead. Shapeshifters are afraid of light!Go through the door to the right of where the monster was and press the round red button in the control room. The door opposite will open. Go through it, pull the lever to turn on the light, crouch down, and crawl through the hole on the left. Climb up the ramp, jump forward, onto the pipe on the right, and through the hole on the right into the corridor.Go to the end of the hallway, through the door ahead, and look behind that door. Note 4/35 is on the floor. At the end of the hallway, pull the lever to turn on the light. Behind the glass on the left, on the stand, are the keys.Go to the lighted area and climb the planks into the room on the right through the window. Go to the other side of the room and pull the lever to light it. Go through the  door to the right of the switch and pull the lever to the left. You can now open the white door on the opposite side.Run forward, turn left, cross the conveyor belt on the left, and pull the lever. Go through the now-lit door. Follow the conveyor belt with hooks, turn right, and pull the lever. Run forward through the lit door, climb onto the conveyor belt on the left, and pull the lever on the wall on the left.Go through the double doors to reach the room with the star —a new tool. Pull down the lever, press the round red button, and pick up the tool. Now you can turn on the light by pressing the F key.

How to find the key: Return to the room with the conveyor belt. You'll learn that the V key turns on the black light. It's actually an ultraviolet light that illuminates various inscriptions and drawings. Go through the doorway ahead, turn right down the corridor, and hidden among the children's  toys at the end is a Bindl Boogie plush toy (Collectibles 1/19). These are the collectibles for Chapter 5. There are 19 of them in total.Toys Run back along the conveyor belt with hooks and continue in the opposite direction. You'll see the monster open the door ahead. But first, turn left through the door and find Audio Cassette 1/10. Go back and go through the door on the left.Also, when you're walking through the room with the ramp through the left window, check the doors on the right. The right door leads to some toilet stalls. Nearby, there's a makeshift shelter made from a bed and some rags. Crouch down and find note 6/35.Proceed down the long corridor, fending off enemies with your flashlight. At the end of the corridor, turn left through the door, open the small control room in the left corner, and collect the key.

AFTER THE KEY: Return to the room with the stairs and open the other door with the key. One interaction opens the lock, the other opens the door. In the room with the containers in the center, open the door on the right with the key (double interaction). You'll soon return to where the episode began, after chasing Huggy Waggy and descending the elevator.Go through the red door, move forward, and a cutscene will soon play. You'll meet Giblet. Follow him and watch another cutscene. Continue on your way and listen to Giblet again.

Find the grabber: Don't rush to talk to Giblet. Walk to the opposite side and pick up Note 7/35. There's another Note 8/35 on the workbench to the right.To continue, crawl through the hole in the wall to the right of Giblet. In the hallway, first go right and find the Goober GATTZ  plush toy (Collectibles 2/19) on the cart.Go back and, on the other side of the corridor, climb up the boxes and make your way through the long ventilation shaft. The arrows you see under the UV light indicate the story path.Continue along the only path after the vent. There's a locked door on the left, and ahead is a convenient path through the crates into the vent. Crawl through it to find Audio Cassette 2/10.In the hallway with two red doors, go through the hole ahead to find Bron (a red dinosaur). But first, turn left, through the office with computers on desks. Enter the server room. Stand in the middle where the flashlight beeps, indicating a secret compartment. Shine the UV light upward and find an X. Look between the shelves under this X to see a multi-colored device. Jump up and reach out to pick up the gold statuette (collectibles 3/19) sitting on the device. Climb up its tail and the blue pipe to its mouth, which contains a grabber. You've recovered the item!

Player Comments of Poppy Playtime Chapter 5:

This chapter was absolutely insane! It was easily the darkest chapter in the entire game so far, with the horrific surgical experiments as well as the disturbing conditioning. The Prototype's face was FINALLY revealed. I honestly loved the lore and story that was built in this chapter.My only criticism though is please patch the chase with Lily Lovebraids. I'm okay with chase sequences, and wouldn't normally mind a couple of trial and error moments. But Lily's chase sequence was a literal nightmare, constantly dying over and over again before I finally make like 5 seconds of forward progress, and then die over and over again.That however is my only criticism, and the rest of this chapter fine and amazing. Looking forward to Chapter 6!

As a Poppy Playtime fan, i liked this chapter but at the same time, i'd say it was... empty? It lacks of something to really keep us in the game/story. The chases were good but not that scary, and it felt like a normal game where you explore the map, do puzzles, and then you encounter monsters that will chase you. But of course that's MY opinion.BUT, the game is still good on certain parts. The graphics are nice, the animations are really good, i didn't see a lot of bugs (only one or two but they weren't disturbing). And i REALLY enjoyed the fight with the Prototype alongside the Huggy and Kissy scene.We can see that Mob are trying to improve and i hope they'll still do with the next chapter.

Honestly Ima just be honest with this, and no, I'm not saying this because of the videos or controversy. This is my opinion before all of this, and normally, I don't leave reviews. Poppy Playtime is a very good game, I'll say that, but Chapter 5 was confusing. Half of the time, the player was getting chased, and most of it was just puzzles that were very confusing to figure out and hard. I was in a call with my friend streaming this, and even they tried helping me with the puzzles, but were confused as well. As I love Poppy Playtime, this just made me frustrated for half of the game, to the point I just wanted to get this chapter over with. I also didn't feel like there was much lore to focus on, like yes, there was lore, but half the game, I was just focused on the puzzles and everything, and it was just overwhelming for me. I wish there were more vhs tapes too, since I loved collecting those, and it was so fun to do, but there were only 3. Also didn't feel very scary, but maybe it's because it's not the same as when the first chapter came out, who knows. I'll still recommend this game because it is still a good game after all, just Chapter 5 wasn't my favorite, that's all.
