However, that’s the theory, but your job in X-Plane Flight Simulator is much more complicated than that.

Before actually boarding the flight, you will have to set up a lot of things, including choosing the runway, departure terminal, and map of the area you are about to fly over. Next, you adjust the weather conditions before going on the flight. Please note that this is adjusting the weather, not checking the weather forecast!

This helps you have new challenges during the game, you can create your own difficulties to solve according to your needs. Then, choose the time to start your trip. If you want to fly in the morning or at night, you just need to choose the appropriate time frame (or use the real time at your location as the time the plane takes off).

Controls of X-Plane Simulator:

Move all the joystick’s control axes (that is, pitch, yaw, roll, and throttle) through their full range of motion to calibrate the controls.

Once the program loads, move your mouse to the top of the screen, causing the menu to appear.

Click on Settings, then Joystick & Equipment (as seen in the image above). The relevant portion of the dialog box that appears is shown in the image to the right.

Move your joystick or yoke forward and back. A green or red bar should move as you do so. Click the drop-down menu next to it and set it to pitch. Do not check the reverse box next to this control unless, when flying, the aircraft’s pitch control is working backward.

Move your joystick/yoke left and right. The green or red bar that moves should be set to roll. Do not check the reverse box next to this control unless, when flying, the aircraft’s roll control is working backward.

Twist your joystick (if applicable). The bar that moves should be set to yaw. If you do not assign a yaw axis, X-Plane will attempt to stabilize it for you. Once again, do not check the reverse box unless, when flying, the aircraft’s yaw control is working backward. If you are using rudder pedals instead of a twisting joystick, slide them forward and backward and set the green/red bar that moves then to yaw. Additionally, only when using rudder pedals, press the left pedal down with your toes. The green or red bar that moves should be set to left toe brake. Do the same for the right pedal, and set that green bar to right toe brake. If this is done, you may also skip steps 8 through 10 below.

Move your throttle forward and back (on a yoke, this is typically the leftmost lever). Set this bar to throttle. Check the reverse box only if, when flying, the aircraft’s throttle control works backward.

The game comes with the really popular airports and two planes, the cirrus vision jet andthe Cessna 172 my personal favorite: The physics on the game are the best of the best: Ihave tried playing every mobile game and none have even come close to as realistic andsimple as this game: You can go on to a massive player mode where everyone will flyaround the Seattle Tacoma airport and even become freinds: If you tend to stay awayfrom the crowd then you can go to free flight and go forever: It pauses in free flight butnot massive multiplayer Which is my biggest dislike: I would like to become a comershalpilot and living close to the buissiest airport it has help turn my dream into reality but ithelps even more coming home to do a quick flight from PDK to Gwinnett: If you get thisgame get the full pack not the location: It gives you the full fleet and let's you go whereever for only $7 a month: The locations of the game are not great and does not let me flyto my house or even a place I recognize, but when it comes to airports it is spot on.Trying most big flight simulators on mobile devices this is the one: Another great featureis the challenges and tutorials it gives you to prepare for a real flight: Now if you have aPC you read this for no reason, go get Microsoft flight sim: It's just the best: All in all justbuy the game and the big pack.

This particular plane app is by far the best I've ever played, for mobile its without adoubt #1 on my list of best graphics and realism: The feel of it seems so real: In myopinion this is the only apple store plane simulator that is worth purchasing: It's highlyrecommended!
