Wonderful Storyline of Umisonia

From the beginning, there was a sacred tree, nurtured by the gods.

Its roots maintained harmony between humans, elves, and beasts in various realms.

However, the powerful wizard Ivankel attacked the tree, cutting off its branches and uprooting its roots.

The gods subdued Ivankel, but the damage was done.

Life began to fade between the two worlds, and peace ended.

Good game. Given you 5 stars. Sorry I have edited my review now. As I know, after progressing on certain quests, you get the flying ability. That's why my brother could jump past those spikes, but I couldn't. Now I have unlocked that ability too, but now I'm stuck at "where it begins Quest," so I can't progress in the game because I can't find any way to get there. Thanks.

Everything you'd want in this kind of game. Would recommend. It does suffer from Bad Tutorial Syndrome; explaining inane things like "press..." jump to jump, and dash to dash" while not even mentioning what the items enemies are dropping are for, what's the deal with food vs potions, how to access the crafting system, etc.. Also, it'd be nice to be able to control the opacity of the buttons; they cover such a large portion of the game screen (even if by necessity).

This game isn't even finished, but you can see it's excellent. and the people working on it are really interested in listening to their customers. There are some minor bugs like changing language from English to Spanish in the dialogue, but it's pretty irrelevant. Save stations/ checkpoints are spread out, so there is no way you get softlocked or anything like that. Game is challenging at first, but you can really feel your character evolving. There is a moral system based on your actions
