One of the things that I enjoyed about My Bimbo Dream was that it tells a story that is a bit more grounded in reality. Ok, so the MC is the luckiest dude around as he not only has the super hot landlady but there are other chicks that this guy can potentially hook up with and fool around with also. The writing is a bit more “natural” granted it still has some wacky stuff as it is a lewd visual novel after all, but there is nothing so over the top that it takes you out of it. Rather than thinking this could never happen, you just think that the MC is the luckiest SOB around and you would do anything to be in his shoes!

Can ET Borrow Your Phone?

When the developer took My Bimbo Dream back to the start, one of the changes that seems to have split people down the middle is the phone. Before this was a pretty straightforward lewd visual novel and it was fun. Now, as well as making choices like you would expect, we also have a phone to deal with. To be honest, I like this, it does add a bit more gameplay to the mix, but I do not think that it takes anything away from it. I will say that I do think the story speeds up towards the end, almost like the developer is rushing to get to the finish line. I would like to see them slow it down as the slower burn of a story in the early part is a huge reason why this story works as well as it does.

She’s Got The Look And The Touch

From what I have read, the developer took on a new artist or decided to change the art themselves. No matter what the reason was, My Bimbo Dream is a fantastic looking game as a result. We have realistic looking character renders and I love the way that all of these ladies have these stunning bodies, but at the same time they are not over the top unrealistic which fits in with the more grounded in reality story that is being told. I do think that the game being fully animated would take it to the next level so that is hopefully something the developer will consider adding.
