The areas currently under your control can be seen from the map accessed from the main menu and also on the mini map available while you are playing the game. Once you conquer a new area or make new allies, the map will be updated and darkness will be lifted from that area on the map.

You start the game with only a small town under your control. As you progress through the game and conquer more towns and cities, you will have to keep the condition of the people. This is because if you keep on discovering and adding new territories to your kingdom without looking after the people, they will stop supporting you! This is when your power starts to decline and it will become much more difficult for you to win boss fights. In addition if you ignore the territories under your control for too long, they will soon become available to be conquered by opposing heirs when you are playing online.

Always remember that the conquered territories are one of the biggest sources of cash income for you. Cash is necessary for upgrading your armor and weapons, so looking after the territories under your control ultimately leads to a much more powerful heir under your control. Like most RPG games, Heir of Light also ensures a memorable gameplay experience for players by introducing many limits that you will have to keep track of. Defeating a boss may look like a very easy task at the earlier levels but as you progress to the higher stages, the difficulty increases exponentially. It is at these levels that you will have to start worrying about your health and combo bars. The health bar is located at the top of the screen of your smartphone where it is instantly and clearly visible at all times. In addition, the combo bar is located below the health bar and it keeps track of the power of your attacks. This means that when the combo bar is full, you can unleash a devastating full power combo on the enemy. However this will deplete your combo bar and you will have to resort to normal melee moves until it restores again.

That being said, a powerful melee attack combo also takes a large chunk out of your combo bar and this can definitely pose a dilemma for you as a warrior. Remember to always save the powerful melee attack combos for the most difficult creatures. You can estimate the hit points you need to deal to a creature by hitting it using a single normal melee attack on it. If your attacks make almost no difference to the hit points of the creature, it is best for you to initiate the powerful melee attack combo in order to ensure your continued survival. Sometimes finding a good balance can be a real challenge it is well worth the effort. This is because dying from loss of moves is one of the most common sources of failure in Heir of Light.

Another limit imposed by the developers is on the number of weapons you can carry at once. Heir of Light offers a unique gameplay experience by giving you a choice of both ranged and melee weapons that you can equip. However, you can only carry one type of weapon with you at a time. This means that you will have to identify which weapon suits your style of play best. If you are a strategy centric player who likes to dodge attacks and strike from a distance, get the bow or spear. However. if you are a true Heir and the bravest warrior in the land, choose the sword or axe and slice your way to the top!

Where to begin! Absolutely beautiful, optional ads, load times are great, no bugs or crashes even on the crappiest phones, auto play is limited and actually discouraged! The gameplay just scratches that Hero Collector itch with a refreshing layer of real time strategic depth. It gives little direction in the beginning, but the devs knew what they were doing! At Lv10 you unlock a Game Guide packed with goodies in case you were confused about anything! Wow guys. Bravo PS I NEVER write reviews.

I didn't have much expectations from this game. I thought it would be another one of those boring, idle rpgs that are pixelated. and you're forced to sit and watch. But this game showed me how wrong I was, it looks exactly like shown in the pictures. and you can choose whether you want to take control or not in a battle. this is one of those hidden gems that you oneday randomly stumble upon and wonder why you didn't know of it's existence earlier.

The game is great. I've played for nearly 4 years now, and still enjoy it. If there was one drawback for me, it is the calculation times for events and dungeons and whatnot. Rather than at the end of the day (ie. Midnight), they often close certain spots at 11:30pm. If it could be pushed back to 00:00-00:30 to calculate instead of 23:30-00:00, it would be better. I often try to rush some daily quests because of not getting the ability to play until getting in bed at night.

Heir of Light is awesome! I've been playing for almost a year now and I have no plans of stopping anytime soon. Granted, the game can get really grindy but that's to be expected when you get to the higher levels. It's F2P friendly because they do a lot of events and free items. I really like that they thought into the lore for the characters but I wish the storyline was a bit more in depth.

Should I use a copy to skill up the original?

No! All copies should be used for Transcending (Transcending is a way to increase the power of a unit through the use of copies). Transcending gives 1 skill up.NOTE: You can also gain skill up via using the same servant as food in Enhance. However, this is regard as a TOTAL WASTE of your extra copies and is not recommended. DON’T DO IT. Use your extra copies in transcend. And if your unit already reach max transcend (level 80 at the moment, consider either save up or use it in Fuse/Craft)

Can i get past collabs unit?

NO… once a collab unit has passed the allocated period, they are no longer attainable. Collab units were meant to be available for a limited amount of time (limited edition). This is mainly due to restrictions of collaboration between developers/companies.Though transcending buns are available through crafting, for heirs to transcend collab units they have already summoned.Collaboration units are only available temporarily according to contracted terms. Due to contract terms they are not available after the collaboration period is over.

What is primary / secondary mark？

When looking into servant skills, you can see a large and small mark in the 3rd skill box. The large icon will be the primary mark, whereas the smaller icon will be the secondary mark.

How to trigger combo？

When a unit casts its 3rd skill it has a chance of activating a combo. the secondary mark must be similar to the primary mark of the 2nd servant. Eg: Heylel secondary mark is “sunset”, will combo into blavatsky with primary mark “sunset”

What are potentials?

Potentials is the way to specialize how your unit works on its own and in teams. It is what separates your unit from other people with the same unit. With potentials you can customize where you want it to perform the best. Do you want more damage to the world boss? You can add up to 45% extra dmg to world boss. Do you want to slow down the enemy in PvP? You can get up to -120 spd/class to each enemy in PvP For more information read the Potentials section (Note: add link instead of name)
