Gameplay of Sky Force Reloaded:
Sky Force Reloaded is an extremely popular top-down shooting game (shoot ’em up), developed by Infinite Dreams. This is an improved version and continuation of the original Sky Force game, a game that can be said to be a legend in the gaming world. So what’s interesting in the Reloaded version? Read on to find out!
Grab your gun, turn on your fighter, and fight! That’s basically it, but Sky Force Reloaded is more than that. It’s a mix of classic arcade gameplay and modern elements. Your mission is to fly around and shoot at enemies, but it’s also important to know how to dodge their attacks.
The enemy will fire from all directions, in all shapes and sizes, sometimes in such a dense storm that it will make your eyes dizzy. If you are confused, you will not even know where you are. But the feeling of narrowly dodging a sea of bullets, then returning a barrage of missiles to destroy the enemy.
The game has a difficulty mode that increases with each level, with each level being meticulously designed. For example, in the first levels, you only need to shoot down a few planes, but from level 6 onwards, the boss has several hundred gun barrels each. You will continuously shoot and scream in despair, while your fingers continuously control the plane in a storm of bullets.

Features of Sky Force Reloaded:
Immersive Visuals: Players will hold guns or helicopter systems with guns to participate in these great battles and gain the most worthy victory.
Vibrant Details: Players enhance every detail, participate in expanded historical battles to become more attractive, and discover more interesting things than before.
Unforgettable Experience: Fierce action and a new style of play are recreated realistically to help you have the most unforgettable experiences in the upcoming races.
Balanced Gameplay: Encourage the development of a modern gameplay style and set specific strategies to effectively balance aggressive attacks and solid defenses.
Continuous Progression: Keep others engaged with more advanced improvements, trying to keep continuous progress to ensure the gameplay is as planned and desired.
Strategic Customization: Choose from a wide range of custom spaceships to maximize your combat capabilities. You’ll need to use shields, high-altitude missiles, and bombs to dominate long-distance battles.

Strategies of Sky Force Reloaded:
Let's start by explaining progression in this game. You start off with Stage 1 unlocked on Normal difficulty. There are four medals to achieve in a level:
Destroy 70% of enemies in a level
Destroy 100% of enemies in a level
Rescue all civilians
Take no damage
These medals are key to progression. Beating one stage is a requirement to unlock the next one, but it's not the only requirement. You also need enough medals to unlock the next stage. On top of that, earning all four of the above medals will unlock the next difficulty level for that stage. So, once you unlock all four medals on Stage 1 on Normal, you unlock the ability to play Stage 1 on Hard.
Difficulty doesn't progress linearly either. By that I mean, for example, you'll get to Stage 4 on Normal and not be strong enough to get through it. At that point, you may return to Stage 1 and play it on Hard to get the medals there, only to jump back to Stage 3 on Normal to finish the medals there. There's a lot of jumping around between stages on varying difficulties to find which one matches your current strength. At some point, you may hit a point where you can't seem to get more medals on any stages. At that point, you have no choice but to grind stars to get more upgrades. c
Speaking of upgrades, they are the main item that'll let you get farther in the game, and there are a massive amount of them. It may not seem like it at first glance in the Hangar, but as an example, there are 60 upgrades for the main cannon alone, and another 60 for the side cannons. Your top priority should be upgrading both of those, since it's the best way to tear through hordes of enemies and do more damage faster to bosses. However, once you have enough, I highly recommend at least unlocking the laser, bomb, and shield, even if you don't upgrade them. Having them unlocked at least allows them to occasionally drop during stages, and allows you to find the cards that let you start each stage with one of each.
Speaking of cards, they are another set of permanent upgrades, along with ships and technicians. Cards and ship parts work the same way: there is a very rare chance of one dropping during a stage. If you grab it, you then need to beat the stage to collect it. If you die, it's gone. Cards immediately give you some benefit, and they're all very helpful. Ship parts give you a random piece of one of eight different ships, so it'll likely take a while until you get five pieces for the same ship. Ships also have their own benefits, with a few being really strong. Technicians, on the other hand, unlock with prestige points, which are earned by completing ingame cumulative challenges such as kills, rescues, crates destroyed, powerups used, etc. Technicians are unlocked sequentially and get progressively better, giving you more helpful benefits, along with the upgrades, cards, and ships.
All of these things (upgrades, cards, ships, and technicians) will be helping you get farther in the game. There are only 13 stages, but you'll need a ton of upgrades before you stand a chance at beating Stage 13 on Normal difficulty, let alone getting all the medals on higher difficulties. Once you beat Stage 13, you unlock the ability the play Nightmare difficulty, which is the step above Insane. DO NOT attempt Nightmare difficulty until you're maxed out with upgrades, and potentially cards too.
Nightmare difficulty does not ramp up like the other difficulties. For example, Stage 1 on Insane might be the equivalent of Stage 10 of Normal, but Stage 1 on Nightmare will not be easier than Stage 10 on Insane. Nightmare difficulty is constant across all 13 stages. You should therefore concentrate on Normal, Hard, and Insane before even thinking about Nightmare. I have put tips for the individual levels in each related achievement below. Note that the achievement descriptions (here, on Live, and on TA) are all completely wrong for which stage they apply to. As for Nightmare, refer to Above the Average (100G) for details and tips and videos for how to tackle them. The big thing with Nightmare will be buying powerups (shields, bombs, and lasers) and knowing when to use them to make Nightmare manageable. If you don't have the stars to afford powerups before each stage, grind stars now by working on the achievements for beating all stages with all ships. Refer to Swarm Rockets (20G) for more information on it, but if you ever need to grind stars, best to work on those achievement simultaneously.

Player Comments of Sky Force Reloaded:
This is an exceptional side scroller. I love the design, levels, progression system, and overall gameplay. There are times where it feels a little spammy, where there are so many enemies shooting at you that it's impossible, but those are rare. There is a ton of replayability with this game, too. I have played countless hours getting upgrades and new ships. I love this game and can't recommend it enough. The ONLY real gripe I have is there isn't a real tutorial or game guide to help you at all.
This is definitely the best flying-shootem-up game of it's type. The graphics on the various stages are very impressive, also the various "Sky Force" jets that you can collect, the upgrades, the weapons & weapon increases, the different stage challenges, the enemies, the bonus stages and the soundtracks. Overall, an excellent top job from "Infinite Dreams" a great product, very addictive, enjoyable and fulfilling. EXCELLENT!!!
fun game to just pick up from time to time or sink some time into as well. easy to learn hard to master. the power progression feels deserved, the upgrades are reasonable. over all a fun game that's well balanced. and the ads are pretty reasonable as well, I still got the ad free version though. definitely a game worth supporting.
Best shoot'em up I've ever played. it get MUCH harder as you progress but you and upgrade against that and it makes for a super fun game. I own several versions of this game including the "anniversary" edition which can be found here if you add the anniversary in when searching. that is a different game without the free to play mechanics and is just as fun as this. check it out!!! so much fun.
Conclusion:
Sky Force Reloaded is not your average top-down shooter. It will draw you in with its beautiful environments and intense effects. It will keep you with its superb gameplay mechanics, progression system and in-game collectibles. It will leave you wishing for more, once it’s over. Fortunately, there’s a lot of shooting before that happens.
