The game is incredible, but with the worst and most extreme difficulty settings, there is no way to win. It took me a lot of tries, but i finally triumphed over the severe difficulty setting. Because granny and grandpa move much too swiftly and spawn much too quickly, i have to finish what i'm doing as quickly as possible and hide before they appear. Even though the keys that are lying about on the ground are gleaming, it is difficult to notice them even if they are there, and the trap that grandma set up is really difficult to get rid of.

Tips

Dropping items on the Security desk will not lure Granny.

You can throw items into the Baby's stream and they will appear in the Sewer Deck.

This is especially useful for transporting items that are necessary for the Boat Escape with ease.

You can also throw items in there to lure Granny all the way to the Sewer Deck, and with the vase, Grandpa too

Rarely, if the item hits the edge of the stream, it will instead lure the Grandparents in question to the backyard instead.

Grandpa cannot hear many things, so walking behind him is always a valid strategy.

Using the Iron Maiden in the basement and then hiding behind the stairs is a good way to lure both Granny and Grandpa next to the Iron Maiden's switch and allows you to go upstairs without running into them.

This is probably the best way to start a run of Extreme Mode, because getting spotted by any grandparent is often fatal.

On Preset 4, the Door Lock spawns under the shelf that is behind the stairs. You can use it to lock both grandparents in the Execution Room, which will make them take longer to leave.
