What Happened To My Dad

The story that No More Secrets is telling really does start off great. We play as a young guy whose dad was taken away to prison and you end up having to go and live with someone else. What I liked about the story here was that you are trying to find out what really happened to your dad, but you also are trying to find out why other people are lying and what secrets they are also trying to hide.

Losing Steam

While I was very invested in the story that No More Secrets were telling at the start of the game. I do feel that the developer lost some steam towards the end of the game. It was like they were just trying to get to the finish line as while there are multiple endings, they just seem to come out of nowhere. This is not horrible or anything like that, but I do feel that the story is certainly stronger at the start of the game than it is at the end.

Meaningful Choices

One aspect of No More Secrets that I think is very well done are the choices. This is a visual novel game that forces you to pay attention to what is being said. The choices are more frequent than in many other visual novel games and I liked how there was what felt like a fair bit of weight to the choices you were having to make. There are different endings that you can get and in all as far as a visual novel goes, this is one that is very well done.

Having Fun While Solving Mysteries

The renders in No More Secrets are awesome. There are some fantastic looking ladies in this game with Amber being the one that I liked the best. The variety to the women is great too as they have made sure that there is someone here for everyone which is something that I always do appreciate. The MC is not the best looking guy and that is really the only negative thing I have to say about the presentation of the game if I am being honest.
