Battle Princess Lacia and the Fallen Fortress

Upon graduating from the military academy with honors, Lacia embarks on her first assignment at the distant fortress of Krayst. Upon arrival, she discovers that the fortress is in disarray, largely due to the misconduct of its leader, General Gustav. He has succumbed to greed and is exploiting his new recruits for his own gratification. Consequently, the villagers have lost faith in the soldiers who are supposed to protect them. It is now Lacia’s responsibility to restore the reputation of Fort Krayst and, by extension, the entire army.

Storyline:

After graduating from the military academy, honor student Lacia became a soldier. The workplace assigned as a new soldier is "Crest Fortress" far from the capital Central. However, it was a "fallen fortress" that fell to the ground because of a certain person.

That person is a man named "Gustav" who is the governor of Crest Fortress. This fat man with a nasty look and no job. Not only sexual harassment and power harassment against Lacia, Ending up with sexual acts...

As a result of this man's continued neglect of the townspeople, Crest Fortress has a bad reputation, and the townspeople. I didn't trust him at all.

Restore the trust of the townspeople and save this rotten fortress of ruin. In order to reform, Lacia will struggle alone today!

Gameplay:

Having saying that, the fighting is entertaining because it sticks to Blazing Aries' original structure. At a certain point, the plot drags on too long and throws too much irrelevant detail at you at once. Thankfully, there are buttons to skip events and skip dialogues. However, if the story is spread out a little bit rather than thrown at you all at once, you could find it more enjoyable. The inability to counter in midair and the lack of SP recovery outside of combat are the aspects of the revisions that I dislike. However, turning off the checks to permit midair guarding would destroy the image system since it modifies the images directly in an excessive number of locations instead of using object-oriented programming to localize the modifications to an actor object or a data manager.

Features:

The heroine's corruption, combat, and gameplay are all the same. The guns are a recent addition to the game. Until the very end of the game, when I discovered that some weapons let me quickly shatter an enemy's guard, I didn't really find any use for them. I made the decision to max out the assault gun after that. There are several really weird mechanics and skill hit boxes. I felt like I was continuously avoiding certain enemy skills, yet for some reason, I kept getting hit by them, which irritated me a lot.

During the entire game, I only ever used four skills at a time. I didn't bother switching or combining many skills to obtain links, yet I still managed to defeat the majority of bosses without any issues. There weren't many that truly challenged me, but as I improved with each try, I eventually defeated the boss. In summary, I thoroughly enjoyed the battles and found them to be enjoyable. I suppose the majority of gamers will note that the game's focus is not primarily on h-scenes.

I never had the impression that I was playing the game just to see the h-scenes. I saw them as an added benefit to the game. Some scenes are quite hot, and the artwork is really beautifully done. The plot is nothing special - it's just your average hero story with an occasional twist. Overall, give the game a try if you enjoy the gameplay. Ignore it if all you're interested in is h-stuff. I haven't decided yet, but because you can start the game plus with all of your gear and levels, which should make it a pretty quick run, I might later do a virgin run. It's a very fantastic pixel adventure game, and I'm pleased I played it. Having said that, the H-content is of such poor quality that it really makes the game worse.

Sincerely, I'm perplexed by the striking disparity in quality between the pixel art and the original artwork. Even though it's very expensive and difficult to create pixel art and animations, this game features animations and pixel art that are practically on par with professionals. Conversely, all of its standard standing CGs, whether they are in H or not, are incredibly amateurish. Its H sequences are just sloppy for an H-game. Each scenario consists of only one poorly created CGI (perhaps with two or three minor modifications, such as hearts in the eyes). Additionally, there is no animation, which is generally not a problem, but it just jars when you consider how much animation there is in the game overall.

Conclusion:

One stride ahead, one step behind. That's how I feel about this game. The gameplay is superior to that of Blazing Aries, its predecessor. The narrative is worse, though. Decent decline, but not quite in the "fall from grace" category. From a traditional happy ending about vanquishing evil, they were met with a generic noble woman at a military academy who wanted to fight corruption. Apart from our FMC, everyone in Lacia, in particular, seem soulless and two-dimensional. Lacia has no friends or allies, but Aries does. Perhaps I haven't played for long enough, because after five hours, all the dull game genres are pressuring me to just accept a complete save from a friend.
