The whole premise of Stranded in Space was something that clicked with me right from the start. The reason I say this is that I am a huge sci-fi nerd so I get a kick out of anything like this. We play as a dude that has awoken on this spaceship that is on its way to a new home planet. Yet, we wake up with our memories lost, we do not know why we are on this ship. Oh, the ship is also way off course and only filled with women!

With a sci-fi story like the one that Stranded in Space is telling, it could have been all super serious. Yet they went the opposite way, this is more like a comedy and it is the kind of story that will make you laugh. The writing is genuinely very witty and funny and I liked how the characters (and there are a lot of them) for the most part are all very well developed and interesting in their own unique way. Now, while the game is played for laughs, I will say that it can be a little dialogue heavy on some occasions so that may be something to consider.

While Stranded in Space has a story that I enjoyed, the gameplay is something I thought was very well thought out. Rather than just going for the standard lewd visual novel approach like many lewd games tend to go for these days. What we have here is a fun lewd adventure game. Do not get me wrong, there are still lewd visual novel style elements like branching paths and picking what you say. However, there are mazes you need to navigate, puzzles and riddles to try and figure out, and even the odd mini-game or two thrown in as well. I like how they never stick with the same gameplay thing for too long.
