Where to start when talking about the story in Away From Home? This story made pretty much no sense to me. We play as a young guy whose dad sends him and the maid (the super hot maid I might add) to live back in the MC’s old stomping ground. The MC is not happy about this at first, but he gets to reunite with people that he used to know, get closer to the sexy maid and also discover a dangerous mystery in regards to why he was sent away and other mysterious things going on around the time.

Look, as I said, Away From Home has a story that does not really make much sense, but it does get you from one sexual encounter to the next. I actually had more fun with the story by not taking it too seriously and just going with the flow and kind of taking in all the absurdity of it.

Even though the story made little sense to me, you do still have to pay attention. There are various choices that you have to make during the game and this will affect things going forward. It is not going to revolutionize the lewd visual novel genre or anything like that. However, I did like what was here and it was decent enough. I liked how at the end of each chapter it gave you a summary of the key things that you did and would matter going forward in the story.

I am kind of surprised that more people are not talking about Away From Home in terms of the visuals. This is a fantastic looking lewd visual novel with some of the most attractive character renders that I have seen in a very long time. You also have a great variety of sex scenes and the rate that the game gives you them is very fair in my opinion. There is also some very well done animation here which makes them even better.
