As you have probably already guessed, Waifu Academy is set in a fictional Japanese high school. The name of this school is Sazki Academy and you play an unnamed (well you get to chose his name) high school student who has had a less than spectacular high-school life so far.The basics of the story are that he wants to be a big shot, take a few jerks down a peg and also get it on with as many high school hotties as he can. If you have played a visual novel game before you know what to expect here from a story point of view. One thing that does help keep you invested is the characters. There are plenty of characters to interact with here and some of the ladies, in particular, look great.

When you look at a game like Waifu Academy, you know that it is probably going to fall into one of two categories. It is either going to be a visual novel game where you just allow the story to unfold in front of you and experience it that way. Or it is actually going to let you move the story along by making choices. You will encounter many characters in this game and there are plenty of ways that the story can go.Making the right decision is not always as easy as you would expect, but there can be different outcomes. I actually found a guide online so I did kind of cheat to move the story in certain directions so I could get with the characters that I liked best. I think that the story that is told here is decent enough and if you like these types of games you will probably enjoy what is on offer here.

Due to the large number of characters in the cast, it is common to encounter situations where choosing one lady for a scene may result in excluding another.
