Introduction
We all know the story: hero emerges from humble beginnings, slays the tyrannical dragon, and ushers in a new era of peace and prosperity. But here, it’s the other way around. Ravager is a game where you play a young dragon, determined to reclaim their birthright. To do so, you will need to build your power, ally with dark forces, evade justice, and whet your monstrous appetites. Explore your way through a dark fantasy saga that will lead you into the deepest reaches of the world, where you may build your lair. Combine forces with the half-human tribes, opportunistic mercenaries, and stranger powers – like long-forgotten gods, or conniving infernals. Return on the warpath, conquer the lands, and depose the regent who rules in your stead. Forge your kingdom into the shape you want, and reap the benefits of power. Choose to tackle your challenges through strength or cunning, respect or fear. There are no simplistic morality systems at work here, and you will not be punished for thinking outside of the box. Be magnanimous or tyrannical, honourable or devious, gracious or predatory – and feel free to combine those approaches as your heart and mind see fit. Ravager has a voice-acted cast of dozens, each with their own motivations and inclinations. You’ll meet eager supporters, allies of convenience, and deadly foes. Follow their ascent (or descent) under your influence, and decide their fate. Perhaps you might even find love along the way.
Features:
Unique Perspective: Unlike traditional games, the game allows players to experience the story from the perspective of a young dragon, offering a fresh and engaging gameplay experience.
Reclaim Your Birthright: As the young dragon, your main objective is to reclaim your rightful place in the world. You will embark on a thrilling journey filled with challenges and adventures to accomplish this goal.
Build Your Power: Throughout the game, you have the opportunity to build your power and enhance your abilities. Strategically make choices and alliances to become stronger and more formidable.
Nonlinear Plot: The game offers a nonlinear plot that allows players to make significant choices that shape the outcome of the story. Your decisions will determine the fate of the dragon and the world it inhabits.
Immersive Gameplay: With detailed graphics and captivating sound effects, the game provides an immersive gameplay experience that will keep you entertained for hours.
Dark and Exciting Atmosphere: This game is not your typical fairytale. The game embraces a darker theme and invites you to indulge in your bestial appetites, making it an exciting and thrilling adventure.
Highlights:
Voice Acting: Ravager integrates professional voice acting to give depth and personality to its characters, creating a more immersive and emotional gaming experience that resonates with players.
Animated Scenes: The game incorporates several animated sequences, offering visually captivating and dynamic content that enhances storytelling and keeps players engaged throughout their journey.
Original Soundtrack: An original soundtrack accompanies the game, effectively setting the mood and atmosphere, ensuring that the music enhances the overall narrative and emotional tone of the gameplay.
Maid Kidnapping: This aspect likely centers around the involvement of maid characters, where players may encounter moral decisions or consequences related to the kidnapping of these characters, adding complexity to the game's plot.
Lair Development: Players are likely given the chance to develop and personalize their dragon's lair, which could serve as a strategic feature, impacting gameplay progression and offering customization options.
Horde Management: The game likely includes a mechanic where players manage and control a horde of creatures or followers, which can be used to help achieve various in-game objectives and provide tactical advantages.

Fixes
Fixed an issue where some players updating via Steam had an experimental feature permanently enabled. Whoops!
"Mute All" will no longer show as enabled when it isn't.
Eburon will stop showing up to court when dead. Third time he has done this.
You can no longer ask Adeline why she spurned you if you didn't attempt to mount her in Act 1.
Balthorne will not refer to his paternal namesake with the same nickname that you gave him.
Chanwe will not offer to help peacefully take the abbey in Act IV if she can’t actually do that.
You do not have to boink Chia if she was not immediately sent to fetch Adeline in Act V Chapter One.
Cooch’s repeatable scenes in Act V Chapter Two will direct you to the proper activities.
Several missing dragon voicelines have been added to the Bastion confrontation with Heloise.
Restored a missing menu option in Eburon's consort arc.
Some previously-inaccessible conditional text in Eburon’s Act V Chapter One catchup has been restored.
Killtoy Maelys will clean herself up after her scene with Adeline, as requested.
Joining Sabetha & Inej’s heist no longer requires specific content flags to be checked.
Žižeryx is described with the correct pronouns when using the Infernals to attack Gutters' Cove.
Lots of small typo fixes.
Comments:
I want to thank everyone in the team who made the choice to prioritize accessibility for blind and low vision players in this game and continues to uphold that principal. A special shoutout goes to Souphase and HereToHelp for their UI work. Thank you so much guys! It really is appreciated. And I will now be able to suggest this game to other BVI players with zero reservations thanks to the updates. Making sure that as many players as possible can enjoy your game even when it takes extra work to implement is a kick ass [and smart] thing to do!
Are there plans to include more content in acts 2 and 3? I realized that if you rationalize the time in the right way and there are still 3 to 5 days left to just sleep, you can get all the content and events of these acts. I would like to know if there are plans for more content in the future, for example events with existing or new characters, even new factions or races, or bringing more content about centaurs or zombies, as I think there is very little information or encounters with these races?
Hey there, I cannot recall if I've already asked, but it won't hurt to give a poke just in case I haven't.The size of the game, particularly the animations file, has hit a point where my Linux rig is not longer able to properly unpack the tarball after downloading. Bit of a bummer, as I really did want to try the recent updates. Are there any plans to make either "Lite" versions of the game available for download that have had the animations and audio stripped to reduce filesize and resource usage, for those who either do not use these functions or lack device specifications, or potentially to provide a regular zip version of the Linux download? This is likely more an issue with how tars are handled than anything else.
I'm a fully blind player and I'm delighted to say that the "self voicing" and even better the "clipboard voicing" features built into Renpy work great with this game, except for two areas.1. I can't edit the name of my dragon. Pressing keys to type just activates UI commands, and I can't press enter or space to put my cursor into the edit field because doing so progresses the story.2. When choosing places to attack in my war room in act 3, the icons representing the various regions are only pictures with no text labels for the self voicing to read, so I have to randomly press enter on one of them, see what it says, go back, try to remember how many presses of the down arrow to do to find it again, and then pick it that way.
Final words:
Ravager - a cartoon-style interactive project for adult gamers, where they will find not only a lot of explicit content, but also an interesting role. The main character will be a young dragon who must avenge his relatives without exception. Any kingdom, valiant knight and adventurer will be happy to have the head of a fire-breathing creature in trophies. Which led to the almost complete extermination of our ward's relatives. One cannot cope with a grandiose plan and so he sets off on a journey in the hope of finding allies and those who share his ideas.
