Story:

Attack on Survey Corps is a visual novel set in a world inspired by the anime/manga Attack on Titan.

The protagonist and Elsa had to flee their home district of Shiganshina because of an attack by the Colossal and Armored Titan! In the process, they split up with their mother and her fate is unknown...

After the disaster, they decide to join the Cadet Corps in order to avenge the Titans.

However, the protagonist of the story discovers that quite a few beautiful girls have also joined the Cadet Corps. Now the protagonist has other goals besides killing titans...

Hey everyone! It's been a while, ha-ha.

I hope everyone had great holidays and that everyone's well!

I'm sorry for the lack of posts. Just like everyone else, I was spending some time with my family and loved ones while working on the game/translation stuff.

Either way, our artists are coming back, two of them have already continued working and the third one will supposedly start working tomorrow (she was supposed to start working two days ago, but she's fallen sick during holidays :( Hopefully, she'll return soon)

Now, I've already started working on script and dialogues for the Xmas update. It'll take some time but I believe I'll start sending events to our coder real soon.

As for arts, we're currently wrapping up most of the H-scenes, we'll need just a few more days for that.

Once that's done, it'll be only small stuff like adding girls to the backgrounds, hide some things around the camp and so on.

So, hopefully the update will be out by 15-20th of January if things go well and no one gets sick in the team anymore.

It's finally time for a public release!

First of all, huge thanks to all of you who support us! Without you, we wouldn't be able to keep working on the game! ^^Now, this update focus on night watch stuff but it also add quite a lot of events with girls outside of the watch tower.

A quest with Sasha where you wake her up in the morning. Click on Christa in the camp in the morning.

A quest with Christa, where we sleep with her.

A quest with Elsa that continues her story a little.

A quest with Ymir, that continues her story

A night watch system. You'll be introduced to it by playing Ymir's branch.

To keep going to the night watches, click on the poster at the wall in the camp and choose the girl you want to go there with (currently, only Ymir is available)

A small mini-game where we train on how to cut Titan's necks. The mini-game is tied to the night watch system, as it gives you more AP that you spend on interacting with the girls.

A blackjack mini-game, that you get to play during the night watch events. Both Ymir/Mikasa will have this game. (Ymir already does).

A few notes and Q&A.

1. How do I raise AP for the night watch?

You come to the training area, talk to Shadis and slay some Titans. Each time you manage to kill 8 Titans, you'll get +1AP

2. How do I go to the night watch?

When you're in the camp at noon, take a look at the tree. There's a poster there now. Click on it and choose the girl you want to go on a night watch with.

The night watch is a purely side thing and if you don't want to go there, no one's forcing you.

Comments:

In case you did not know, Attack on Survey Corps is a parody of the anime Attack on Titan. I have actually watched through that entire anime twice now as I love it so much. Skinless evil giants? You better believe that is something I am all about. However, what we have here is a game that is taking the story of the people training for war, but they have us as an original character thrust into these situations we know and love. While I liked it as a fan of Attack on Titan, it explains things well enough that even those unfamiliar with it will not be lost.

The plot of the game sees us arriving for training (we are a dude) however, Attack on Survey Corps has a twist in store for us. You see, we show up to training with our sister and we end up getting on the wrong side of Jean who gets jealous of us chatting it up with Mikasa and Eren. We are kicked out of the male barracks and have to shack up with the women folk, thus leading to a bunch of lewd encounters. It is a fun parody and as it does not take itself too seriously it is very easy to get into.

Attack on Survey Corps is a very interesting looking game. For the most part, this is a fantastic looking game. I love how they captured the style of Attack on Titan here, but in a lewd way. I actually got a real kick out of some of the more suggestive, not fully nude art in the game. I do wish that there was some smoother animation, but what is kind of jarring is that sometimes it seems like a scene or two is done by a different artist. It could be just me, but there are some scenes that have a rather different look than the rest of the game, making me wonder if the developer hired a random guy to help out or something for a scene or two.

As far as the gameplay Attack on Survey Corps is offering goes, I think what they have done here is great. This is a sandbox adventure style of lewd game that manages to keep the stuff that makes a sandbox game annoying at bay. There is no over the top grinding for stats in this game, having to do the same thing over and over again. For the most part, it is making story choices that keep you going in the direction you want to go. You do have to click certain areas to chat with certain characters, but it is not hard to figure out or anything like that.

Final words:

Attack on Survey Corps - a project with cute graphics for an adult audience of gamers. The setting of a popular universe, an interesting plot, familiar and unfamiliar characters, explicit content and the ability to influence everything that happens makes the game very attractive. Especially for fans of the original work. The main character finds himself drawn not only into the process of protecting his native settlement from attacks by huge monsters, but also into a conflict that has flared up on the romantic front. So he simply has no time to be bored. He fights in several directions at once and is not going to give up on any of them.
