Even though the great potential of nutrigenomics in nutrition has been proven and heavily promoted, most people still receive general advice and not adapted to their specific needs. Indeed, when it comes to meal planning elaboration nutritionists are too often struggling to cope in defining a personalised diet or they are losing too much time in dealing with all personal data available (lab tests, omics results etc.). Without any doubts, a personalised diet based on nutrigenomics is more complicated to elaborate and understand compared to the “commonly used” nutrition approaches.
