The SKMS Agent uses the SKMS (Secure Key Management System) management protocol and forwards SKMS commands to the eSE (Embedded Secure Element).

The SKMS Agent acts as the interface between client applications and SKMS and eSE, enabling communication and data exchange.

SKMS is treated as an HTTPS server, while the SKMS Agent operates as an HTTPS client.

The client application first requests the creation of card content management from the Zone Trusted Service Manager, and then uses the SKMS Agent interface to request job execution from the SKMS server.

The SKMS Agent does not exchange any customer card data, personal financial information, or physical location information.
