This ear probe device is a great little tool and worth every penny but it's a bit tricky. ltcharges up fast and even shows you on the app portion how much battery percentageyou have so no guess work there. Since everyone's main complaint is how to connect,this is how l did that. l turned the ear probe on first. Then l went to my settings on mylpad and be-bird showed up. l tapped be-bird which disconnected me from my networkname on the list. l got a "no internet connection" which l then uninstalled and reinstalledthe app. Again no internet connection. The instruction book says reboot my router butnope not doing that. Also it says contact my provider but again nope and in frustration lwalked away and when l got back about five min later, lo and behold the app opened onmy ipad, l gently inserted the probe and l was able to see inside my ear and get to thebottom of why my ear felt full and sore. Guess what---. Inflammation ; time to make a drappt. This app could use some improvements on connectivity but l think it's an essentialthing to have around the house together with a trusty thermometer, BP monitor and agood stethoscope all which are good to have if you want to know if its time to call thedoc or go to the ER.

As far asthe "fit & finish" of the device, it is very well done. The pen feels sturdy and the chargingholder that opens to yield tips inside is a great idea. l would give the device 5 stars but itseems like the company cheeped out on the app as it is more of a beta version vsproduction. That being said, the device is worth getting and l hope enough peoplecomplaining about the app will push the company to add some updates soon to fixstability and bugs.
