A feature that l would REALLY like to see added as an option in Tune-In settings is theability to chose "anchored browsing" or "anchored scanning" when scanning downthrough my Favorites list. l often select a station, decide the subject being discussed isnot interesting to me, and return to Favorites in order to continue scanning down the listHowever, Tuneln returns me to the top of the Favorites list instead of permitting me toresume scanning where l left off. Otherwise, l love TunelnPro. l have been a user ofTuneln since probably 2010. As a radio aficionado, l love finding radio stations with liveor repeat talk show programming all over the U.S. and cultural programming from othercountries. Since l am a late night person, the ability to find at any almost any hourstations offering repeat programming is of great importance to me. Using Tuneln l canfind the programs being repeated or recorded that l like at 3am ET, for example. Theability to record anything l am listening to live for playback later is also a huge plus forme, especially classical music concerts. Because of the variety of programming and theability to RECORD (a huge plus!) available to me through Tuneln, other apps such asPandora and iHeart do not interest me at all.

I was an early adopter to this app and now they have turned their back on me. For manyyears l was a faithful and loyal customer that did my best to spread the love byrecommending the app to friends and family. l was able to record radio shows andamassed well over 200 recordings. Last week l made the mistake of tapping "Update All"in the App Store to get my phone current. With the update to Tuneln, l lost said 200+recordings and the ability to record going forward. When l wrote to support they repliedthat they sent out an email, which l never saw and a notification every time l tried torecord should have popped up to notify me. NO SUCH NOTIFICATION EVER POPPED UP!I am beyond upset. The record feature was the main reason l used this app. l hate howcompanies stray from their core features in app updates then say "sorry, it was for legalreasons." Funny how it was legal when it came out and for 7+ years that l had theproduct, but now they claim it's for "legal reasons."

How do I remove a recent station from my Home screen?

From the Home screen, under the section named "Recents", you'll see a list of audio you've recently played. To remove something from the list, tap and hold the content's name or logo, and then select the "Remove From Recents" option. 

What is the Home screen?

The Home page, accessible by tapping on the "Home" icon in the bottom main navigation, has a mix of content that you can listen to. This content changes depending on your current location and whether or not you have listened or favorited a piece of audio. Common things you may see are:

Popular stations from the location you are currently in and across categories such as news, sports, music, podcasts

If you are a returning user you can listen to things you have already listened to under the section "Recents"

Home also contains links to access Car Mode, Profile, and audio category links along the top which you can use to discover content within each of those categories. 

How do I edit my profile information?

Your profile settings are accessible through the "Profile" icon, located in the top right of the screen. From here you can edit your profile photo, email, password, and more.  

Why won't TuneIn play in the background while I'm multitasking on my Android?

This issue could be caused by a default setting in Android 6.0 (Marshmallow) or later. 

If the screen goes to sleep while TuneIn is playing in the background, the app will lose its ability to stream audio. 

If this occurs, go into your Android System Settings, select "Battery" and turn Power Saving Mode to "OFF."
