Thanks for responding so fast. I don't currently have the option to update, only open or uninstall, but as soon as the play store gives me the option to update, I will do so. *Normally it's a great app, but for the past few weeks it'll close itself while I'm using it, and I can't open it back up for awhile. I've cleared cache and tried force stopping manually, but it's still doing it. Very odd.

Finally, a gallery app that lets me [easily] specify folders that I don't want the app to search for media! I'm sick of trying replacements for QuickPic (which I've used for a decade or more and which Android 14 and lame 3rd party programming has pretty much killed) and seeing document media mixed in among my actual photos. Google Photos, the supposed leader in Android photo management, continues to be abysmally deficient in basic features, including folder suppression. Bravo, A+ Gallery!

I have enjoyed A+ Gallery for a very long time. Everytime I get a new phone I continue with this A+ Gallery - Photos and Videos. I've found it to be the best one of all the photo apps out there. Also you can make so many different kinds of Albums and even share your pictures to friends by way of Texting, Email, Messenger, Phone Contacts and on Facebook. I Believe this is why it's named A+ Gallery - Photos and Videos.

Pretty darn great photo organizer, editor and uploader. So far all images and videos created could be directly shared to the gallery. There's an optional four digit code to access your files for safety and privacy. I think I will like it better than Google photos for organizing and sharing once I take a deep dive into all the features. I was looking for something like this for quite a while and this is a great solution.

Create photo albums？

To create albums, go to the albums tab, and click the '+' icon to create a new album.If you have an external SD card attached, and want to create an album in external SD card, use the dropdown in the creation dialog, and specify storage as 'SD card'.

Move photos to album？

To move photos to albums:Select the photos you want to move,Choose the destination album,In the menu that pops up, choose 'Move 2 photos to Hiking' .(The folder you want to move the file to).

Setup your secure vault?

Your secure vault is a private folder in your phone managed by A+ Gallery. Only you can access your photos in secure vault with your password.To set up your secure vault, go to settings, find 'Secure vault', and check it. Once it get checked, it'll ask you to set-up a password, make sure to choose a password that you can remember.Once you finish the setup, you'll see a secure vault icon shown in your albums.

Reset secure vault password?

Your secure vault contains really sensitive photos, so you should really try not to forget the password. However, if you do forget, there's still way to reset it.Try to enter secure vault.Enter any password, let it fail for 3 times.The 'forgot password' button should be shown, click it.Click 'reset password'.We'll either send a one time password to your recovery email.
