Introduction

WeWard is a lifestyle app designed for fitness enthusiasts. It automatically records users' steps and converts them into points, which can be redeemed for various rewards such as real-world gifts and coupons while helping users maintain their health. Furthermore, users can set fitness goals, and the app will calculate calories burned for different exercises based on their physical condition. Users can freely choose suitable exercises and earn numerous discounts and offers. The app also boasts an active community where users can share their workout moments and step counts, earning likes from other users.

Features of WeWard:

Turn steps into money or perks: WeWard lets you convert verified walking activity into rewards you can redeem for cash, gift cards, and donations. When ready to cash out, you choose PayPal, Venmo, or bank transfer. This setup makes it straightforward to use your walking rewards in a way that fits your preferences.

Built-in pedometer and calorie tracking: WeWard includes a pedometer that records steps and estimates calories so you can see daily totals in one view. You can also set personal walking goals and track progress against them. This helps you understand patterns and adjust activity as needed.

Challenges, leaderboards, and WeCards: For users who enjoy friendly competition, WeWard offers challenges and friend leaderboards to keep walking more engaging. You can collect WeCards as you participate and progress. Across the global community, users report walking more on average, which adds a social boost to daily goals.

User Reviews of WeWard:

I love the app been using it almost a year. I see no real benefit besides walking. Idownloaded the app because it says it rewards you for walking. However, it takes almosta year to earn money? The challenge is walking and earning should be a lot easier. I likedgive back feature I would like to see more given to minorities and urban communitiesespecially with Venus being from LA and from an urban community. Have you consultedher about how donations are given? I felt bad I told my son he could earn money walking. He since stopped using the app because it didn't deliver on his promises and he is in amarching band no one walks more than him. Sadly a lot of the work to maintain standingmaybe automated recognition of steps. And the cards as I saw being captured withouthaving to grab them. Auto collecting because the last thing we need is more work. Anapp that begins to feel like work for me is the last thing I want or need. The ads arerelentless. Please stop some of the adds or make them shorter. It's horrible. Overall Ireally like the app but I will reevaluate if it is worth it and the full year mark.

i have fun watching my steps be converted into this app and collecting XP. however, ifyou have a fluke day where you walk more than normal and reach the max step goal thatday, it'll up that goal for the next day. i have two days in my week when i don't work asmany hours so i tend to walk more on those days, but i can't consistently meet the maxon the other days especially when it bumps up the amount of required steps from thosefree days. for example, i normally try to hit 10k everyday. on sunday, i had more time andwalked 17, (the max ward goal. when i opened the app on monday, the max ward goal hadchanged to 18k. i had time that day too, so i was able to reach it. tuesday comes and thesteps required had changed to 19k. but the rest of the week i'm working longer hours so icant meet this number. it says it'll return to my previous level if i dont reach it in 7 days, but i feel that's too long and it shouldn't have changed that quick in the first place. ibelieve the steps for the max star level should only increase if you are showingconsistency in reaching that level. one day reaching that level should not increase therequirement immediately for the next day, especially when it takes a week to go backdown. so the rest of the week you're missing out on wards. this especially irks me assomeone with OCD, seeing the star level go unreached and missing out on wardsbecause the two days i'm free messed up the rest of the week.
