Final Words:

It could be considered annoying that the PIN has to be entered every time you want to access the private photos, but there has to be some form of security that goes beyond simply hiding the photos in a different location than that default Gallery. Anyone who is worried about others seeing their private photos and videos should give KeepSafe a try. While the app doesn't have the ability to specifically hide audio or text files, it can hide photos that include text, which might include information that needs to be protected.
