Make sure you login daily and claim the login bonus, these stack up and there are rewards for logging in every day for certain periods which add up for doing effectively nothing. There are also rewards for doing surveys on consecutive days and other bonuses. Your first survey gets you $2.00. Always do the daily bonus survey as well every day (top line on the left), it’s boosted to a higher value and streaks earn bonuses.

Work your way through the levels (doesn’t take long, I’m already at the maximum ‘survey savant’ level). Each level you pass gives you $0.40 and access to higher earning surveys. You can see what level you’re on by going into ‘best match surveys’ and clicking on the little bar chart icon at the top.

Look out for ‘double dollar days’ where surveys are worth double for a 24 hour period. I’ve hit three of these in the month I’ve been doing it. I got a $3.91 reward for one survey a week ago for 15 minute survey.

Be selective….there is a wide range of surveys with varying time/money rewards. I have a figure in my head I’m happy with dependant on the subject matter and if the time/reward figure is low I don’t bother.

Check a couple of times a day…new surveys come up all the time.

This app is a wonderful option for me personally, and I highly suggest it to people that have time on their hands, are willing to commit to taking a bunch of surveys, and could use extra money. I’ve had this app for 3 years and until recently I only occasionally used it, but since starting I have cashed out $300!I can’t give it a full 5 stars because I’ve had my share of issues where I have finished a survey, and instead of rewarding me my payment, it mistakenly sends me to the disqualified screen that rewards a maximum $0.02 kind of consolation prize. I have also messaged support and the response was not personable at all and it didn’t feel like my complaints were fully heard or acknowledged, to the point I left it alone and let it go, although my reasons for emailing were valid. I will say that cashing out is a super easy process and at least with the payment option I always choose, it arrives extremely quickly unless on a weekend! I also noticed in recent months that they decreased the cash out amount from $25 to just $10, and that was an amazing change. The previous amount made it feel very daunting to reach the cash out minimum, which is why I rarely used it, but now its much easier for me to commit to using the app and I’ve gotten to the point where I’ve started cashing out weekly! $10 isn’t a lot to everybody, but it’s great for building up savings or having a extra bit of spending money. 

As an avid survey taker with active accounts on more than 3 dozen surveys sites & apps I'm starting to consider myself an expertat rating the quality & integrity of survey companies, that said Zap is one of the better ones, I haven't been using it long enough to say with complete certainty but I believe it is likely one of the very best. There are a lot surveys in varying degrees of length & difficulty, something unique to Zap that I like & find most useful is the surveys are devided into to main groups higher paying more difficult & easier ones that are already pre-screened to be compatible with your profile giving you the choice of diving right into the higher paying surveys with the knowledge that you may start several & screen out after a few questions before you're able to complete one but after you've completed one it doesn't take as long to get another one that's a good fit & with each one you complete the less often you'll screen out, the other catagory will have dozens of surveys in it at any given time that you'll be able to complete one after the other without much chance of screening out. There are always plenty of surveys in either category & there are other ways of collecting points like scanning receipts & in a few select stores you can get paid simply for scanning the barcodes of certain items. You can also earn cashback for shopping at some of your favorite stores and there are other deals exclusive to Zap!
