There is not a great deal to the story so far in Camp Hill Range. Our main character and his sister are heading off to summer camp and it is basically about the stuff that our male MC gets up to as he enjoys the freedom that he has being at this summer camp. I got a kick out of how all of the summer camp stereotypes were here, but I do think it needs more humor. It really needs to go all in with this in a Wet Hot American Summer kind of way if you ask me.

They Are People Not Robots

One thing I will say and to be fair, Camp Hill Range is like only in its third update as I write this and that is the story needs some real work. It is all played way too straight and there are some characters that have a bit of life and personality to them, but for the most part, the writing is really holding this one back. Some of the dialogue is very robotic and matter of fact which can take you out of the moment, especially as there are more than a few spelling issues here which I do think is down to the translation.

Camp Should Be Fun!

One thing that I have to give Camp Hill Range a ton of credit for is that already in this rather early state, they are making great progress with the sandbox gameplay. The UI I think could do with a few more shortcuts. However, it is very easy to navigate the camp and get where you need or want to go and when a choice pops up it is very easy to understand what is the good choice and what is the not so good choice. There is even a money making mini-game which I will admit is basic, but I do like that it is there.

That MTV Style

What really drew me into Camp Hill Range was the amazing visuals that the game had. This game is absolutely stunning and I could not have been any more impressed by the way that this game looks. It has this bright and colorful MTV style to it which is always something that I get a kick out of. It has a much more American kind of style to it which I always like. I will say that in this early build, I have played there is not much lewd content at all, but what is here is very well done and something that I thought was a great deal of fun. I am very excited to see what other lewd content they have planned!
