In Storm Serpent Chronicles, you wake with a start as the ship rocks violently, your hammock swinging hard and slamming against the bulkhead. A deep, resonant boom reverberates through the hull, shaking the timbers. You hear shouts and running footsteps above. You yank on your shirt and shove your feet into your boots before scrambling topside. Chaos greets you. The Captain stands at the helm, her muscular arms gripping the wheel. A massive shape looms above, blotting out the morning light with its enormous shadow. A kraken.

Gameplay:

Storyline:

The story always felt rushed to me, because it was. Back then, I didn't have the skills or even a clear vision of what I wanted the game to be. I wasn’t even sure I could pull off making a game by my lone self. Working in the indie scene, I saw firsthand how much effort goes into game development. I figured I’d just give it a shot, fail, and move on. I fell in love with the process along the way. I kept improving, and got somewhat close to a long-time dream of mine, making a semi decent game. Even if it all fell apart in the end.
