In "Demon Maiden and Slave Summoning," you step into the shoes of a young mayor who has just inherited his father's position after his passing. As you navigate your new responsibilities in Noah City, you accidentally awaken a powerful magic circle, summoning Liz—a demon girl clad in tattered garments who embodies both arrogance and vulnerability. While she often competes against you, revealing her fierce spirit, moments of tenderness hint at a deeper loneliness beneath her bravado.

Gameplay:

Players assume the role of a young lord in the city of Shu. Tasked with consolidating Noah’s City, a human city-state within a diverse fantasy world. As the player, you’ll build a relationship with Liz, a familiar spirit, while uncovering concealed truths.

Every five days, you’ll address political matters that impact land value. You can also engage in training as you explore the castle. When you select “Out,” you can visit the “Square” to receive assignments and resolve issues raised by residents. Exploring the countryside offers opportunities to gather materials for missions and cooking, and it may trigger episodes with Liz.

To grow closer to Liz, you have the option to deepen your connection through “chatting”. Or recharge your magic through intimate activities by choosing “H.” Interacting with various parts of Liz’s body on the main page will elicit different responses. The choices and actions you make as a player will ultimately shape the game’s outcome.

Using The Wrong Kind Of Magic

Magic Maiden and Slave Summoning has a fantasy setting and it is a setting that I think is kind of cool. We play the role of a young man who has just become the mayor of Noah City. We have decided that we are going to use magic to try and summon forth a demon that we refer to as a guardian beast to help us out. However, the summoning ritual does not go as planned and instead of this guardian beast, a silver haired beauty called Liz stands before us!

Magic Liz!

Liz is a rather complex character and Magic Maiden and Slave Summoning is really about our relationship with her and the way that it can either blossom or have us more dominate her or her us. Or, there is an ancient prophecy that talks of a white haired girl standing with a blood stained sword! The translation is a tad on the rough side here if I am being honest. You can get the gist of what is happening, but I think with some better writing, this could have been a far more compelling story. I felt like I had to fill in a lot of blanks in my head to make the story fully make sense to me.

A Whole Lot Going On

I find it strange that Magic Maiden and Slave Summoning is referred to as a visual novel as it is far more complex than that. Yes, there is a “chat” option and this does drive things forward and there are different ways it can go. However, this is really a time management sim as you have quite a strict time limit to do things so you have to decide what you want to do. You can go on an adventure, to get the things you need to complete various missions. You can train at the castle and you can even do some naughty stuff with Liz which is fun, but is also another way to improve stats. I was quite impressed with how deep and complex the gameplay here was. I would wager that you will need some kind of guide to make sure you can see all of the different outcomes as that time limit they give you is quite strict.

A Silver Haired Demonic Beauty

The quality of the art in Magic Maiden and Slave Summoning is fantastic! This is a great looking game, I love the look of the fantasy world that they have created here, it has a very anime kind of vibe about it. Liz is a total hottie and I love the way that she has this very expressive face that can go from sweet to arrogant to even a little bit scary. There are some really nicely animated XXX scenes in the game, but even when she is wearing her clothing, Liz is still very nice to look at.
