Yuri University combines sandbox gameplay with character progression. You play as a young woman starting a new life at university, where you will meet five main female characters and a variety of supporting characters with distinct personalities. You must balance your academic performance with building strong relationships, seizing opportunities for deep interactions, and unlocking special animated scenes. The game spans 100 days, requiring you to carefully plan your daily activities: will you go out to earn money for stat-boosting items and upgrades, or participate in various activities to improve your attributes directly? Your actions will trigger different story events and steer the ending toward various outcomes.

Characters of Yuri University:

The game features five primary characters, each with their own personality and storyline.

Your customizable best friend joins the same university and shares much of your daily life.

Ezri is the first housemate you meet and helps you become more comfortable with yourself.

Hannah is a cheerful physics student with a playful personality and plenty of entertaining interactions.

Ashley is an outgoing art student who enjoys spending time with friends and trying new experiences.

Scarlett is quiet and reserved at first but gradually opens up as your friendship grows.

In addition to these main characters, you’ll meet several side characters through random encounters around the university campus.

Gameplay of Yuri University:

A young woman arrives at university with her lifelong best friend, having never dated before and never given much thought to boys. Moving into a house full of open, sex-positive housemates, she starts to realize her attraction lies with women, not men, and has to navigate that discovery alongside her lack of experience while her friend goes through her own quiet reckoning.

Each day you choose where to go, what to do, and who to spend time with, balancing studies against socializing across a set number of days leading up to exams. Activities raise your stats, which open up new options in scenes, while spending time with the main girls builds affection and moves their individual storylines forward. Money earned through various activities can be spent on stat boosts and extras, and random events around campus add side characters and unplanned encounters into the mix.

Useful Tips of Yuri University:

Consider pursuing Hannah as she seems to be a central character.

Stat restrictions can be frustrating, so aim for higher lewdness and voyeurism levels to unlock more scenes.

The distinction between lewdness and voyeurism stats is sometimes unnecessary and detracts from immersion.

Having content locked due to class choices (Physics vs. Art) adds frustration; consider a New Game Plus feature to carry over stats and skills.

Characters are honest about their relationships, eliminating artificial guilt for pursuing multiple girls.

Rose's character design is praised for being balanced despite her thicker build.

Positive trans representation with Maple is appreciated.

Alice can become bicurious either by reaching level 3 or at the sleepover party; each scenario has different outcomes.

Use a scene gallery to replay events with better stats and see variations of scenes.

Milestone perks for stat thresholds can help prepare for specific scenes.

A New Game Plus feature would incentivize multiple playthroughs to explore different content.

These scenes are still rare, but between the fact that there’s now five and the new character icons in the home menu (see below in New Features), these should be easier to encounter.

A small amount of voice work has been added as a test to see what people think.

Voices play when MC has private time in her bedroom, during each main character’s level 6 scene, and in the two new night-time visits.

There is a new volume slider in the preferences screen which controls the volume of these sounds.

Two new bonus phone background images added to in-game shop.

New features:

New university map screen implemented.

The background image has been changed to better match the style of the rest of the game.

The art and physics locations have been condensed into one location named “class”.

The swimming pool is now a separate location from the gym.

You can change the colour of the location buttons in the preferences menu.

A new phone icon has been added, which now reflects your chosen phone background image.

The icon gives a little wiggle when you hover over it ^_^

Click sounds added when selecting a location or the phone.

These can be toggled off in the preferences menu.

The character portraits now use bigger icons.

When a character is somewhere you can’t access (i.e. the class subject you didn’t take), their icon is greyed out.

When at home, there are now character icons on the navigation menu to show you which room each character is in.

On each character’s information screen on the phone, there is now a section showing their schedule for the day.

Stat notifications have been updated with icons.

Phone background unlock notification has been replaced with a small preview image of the unlocked pic.

The quick menu has been updated with icons replacing the text.

Added a new program icon image.

Tweaks and adjustments:

Extra splash-screen images added.

These are unlocked once certain milestones with characters are completed, and only after loading that save. Once unlocked on one save they remain so permanently.

The splash-screen image is still chosen at random, so you may not see new images right away.

Added a few more images to the main menu rotation, and adjusted how they’re chosen.

Added the newest outfits to the pop-up market seller.

Added a new convenience cheat to switch your chosen subject of study.

The phone background now starts randomised as default.

This only affects new games.

When randomised, the phone background now only changes when time advances or when selecting the randomised option.

It no longer changes when opening the phone screen.

Replaced messages about scenes from “Developer” to be from “Chekkin” (that’s me!).

Library Girl scene 2 can now be encountered on Sunday evening as well as Saturday.

Integrated the new map screen into the intro section.

When choosing your character name or BFF’s name, added warnings if you choose the name of a side character.

Adjusted some lines of dialogue in Scarlett’s scene 4 to better reflect events in the new scene 1.

Bug fixes:

Fixed a bug where the pop-up market outfit seller could show the wrong prices.

Fixed an error saying image “gallery0” was missing on some older saves.

Player Comments of Yuri University:

I had already played the game in some pretty early version and at that time I found it just interest enough to keep track of.

Now returned and played the current version and saw myself playing for some hours, this is for now more of a 4,5 than a 5 for me... as it May not be the most elaborated of narratives but entertains for a while and has characters for all tastes and preferences. It interests me also because there is never too many walls of text between interactions and scenes even if I wish there were some more interactions outside direct dialogue(but that's a personal preference) , so you end up always doing something. Finally the game until pretty late in the version doesn't punish you for skipping a specific time of day, as there is always a lot of things happening, so if you miss an event you likely triggered another... only as you progress the current version content end you may see yourself skipping whole days to see what you didnt' unlock yet.

Respectful, non-coercive, borderline realistic. Erotic. Good.There's a character requirement for reviews. Brevity may be the soul of wit, yet a review needs a certain number of characters typed for a review to pass muster. So:The characters all evince healthy degrees of respect for one another, whether one's dreams, desires, or simple bodily autonomy. No disrespect is shown, and yet the game successfully manages to be compelling, with distinct goals and meaningful actions without the common narrative engine of strife. The models are Honey Select, and skillfully rendered. Since the characters are cute, those attracted to women will find it erotic, and since the gameplay is engaging, and since the functionality more than adequate, the game is what I would call good.

This is a fairly straight forward, no-nonsense yuri game. The renders leave a bit to desire, but the amount of content in this game at the moment (version 0.61) is astounding. There are some minor grind mechanics that I don't always like but it's not too annoying in this game. Additionally, the dialogue gets pretty cheesy at many moments, which is the only reason I didn't give a full 5 stars. Please keep in mind the author of this leans heavily into some LGBT and gender identity in some of the dialogue (even if poorly written). I'm perfectly fine with with it, even if it gets a little preachy sometimes, but if you are easily triggered by that, you will not like this game.

Players can engage with five main female characters and various side characters, shaping their experiences through choices and relationship building. The game features dynamic storylines and new content updates that enhance interactions and visual storytelling.
