Introduction

MGQ Paradox is a highly popular role-playing game set in an alternate timeline of the original series. Players take on the role of a protagonist who, in a world where the Goddess has vanished, begins a quest to save the world after receiving a message from her in a dream. Throughout the journey, the protagonist encounters a diverse cast of characters and becomes entangled in various crises and conspiracies. By defeating "monster girls" in turn-based combat, players earn rewards that can be used to forge powerful weapons and unlock new, advanced areas on the world map. As the game progresses, players can deepen their bonds with the girls they favor, unlocking a series of intimate animations and enjoying an engaging "harem" adventure.

Features of MGQ Paradox:

Dramatic storyline, many branches of development: MGQ Paradox takes players to follow Luka, a young warrior determined to defeat the Monster Lord to protect peace. On the journey, Luka faces countless important choices, each decision will open a different direction and directly affect the storyline as well as the outcome. It is the interactive element in the plot that makes the game attractive and has high replay value.

Role-playing gameplay - turn-based combat: Different from fast-paced action games, MGQ Paradox chooses a turn-based combat form (turn-based RPG), where players need to carefully consider each move. You can choose to attack, defend, use skills or magic to overcome enemies. This combat system requires a combination of strategy and resource management, creating a dramatic feeling in each battle.

Diverse character system: During the journey, Luka will meet many different characters, including allies and opponents. Each character has its own personality, skills and roles, helping to expand the depth of the plot and increase the connection with the player. Players can accompany these characters or confront them depending on their choices during the adventure.

Vast fantasy world: MGQ Paradox builds a fantasy world with many different lands, cities and dungeons. Players will be free to explore, perform main and side quests, and learn the secrets hidden in the kingdom. This exploration is not only entertaining but also creates novelty for each stage of the game.

Useful Tips: of MGQ Paradox:

If the skill has a ^ or an or (e.g. Att or Dex for Ninjutsu) in the calculations, its taking the highest of the stats listed. This applies to traits that replace one stat with another as well.

Likewise, a skill with a + (e.g. Att+Agi, for spears) takes the sum of the two.

After choosing a target, if you have multiple elements on your attack, it will take the one that will deal the most damage. Unless the enemy possesses an absorption or reflect, in which case he will absorb the whole lot. A chaos element will bypass the reflect and absorb.

However, if you have multiple "[Element Type Here] Damage +15%", it will take the HIGHEST of them, even if that boost is NOT what is being used against the enemy. Element composite allows the component elements of the composite to stack. Element append allows one normal element directly forms a composite with the appended advanced element and the affix is stackable.

Weapon Type Skills, (Swords, Bows, Guns, Etc.) deal 50% more damage when used with their proper weapon, and somewhat only slightly lower damage if the weapon is close enough, (+40% for club skills with an axe, +40% for sword skills with a katana, the lowest is base skill damage) Certain learnt skills like Earth Rumbling Decapitation has different compatibilities. Imagined Sword grants Magic Sword compatbility while Imagined Gloves grants Sex Toy compatibility.

Deflectors are affected by dispels.

If your person has a deflector on them and they die from Climax/Ascension/Death, they keep it upon being revived.

Self harm damage (Edging, Punishment (Godfather),? (Samurai Skill)) will be blocked by deflectors. Self Instant Death skills usually bypass deflectors.

Non damaging Talk/Dance/Song Skills are Auto Hit.

Player Comments of MGQ Paradox:

I used to think all RPG Maker games suck.. that is, until I discovered MGQ Paradox. Now I still think RPG Maker games suck balls, but this one in particular is an exception. Unfortunately, my IQ is too smol to write up a proper review for such a masterpiece of storytelling and character design, so instead I'll just say it's the greatest RPG ever made (yes, including non-porn), rate it a 5/5 and move on with my life.Alright maybe that's too short for a review so I'll go over some key points. This game is fucking MASSIVE. It has a lot of EVERYTHING. The average clear time for this game seems to be around 200h, but if you go for completionism or play on the highest difficulty it could easily take 500h. There are hundreds of monster girls to ethically recruit into your personal harem.. army? Each with their own spicy scenes. I can't even think of how to describe character progression and combat so let's just go with MASSIVE again. Lots of classes/jobs, lots of synergies, lots of strats.

So I have been playing this game on and off for over a month now (Its long as fuck) Gotta say I really enjoyed it though, I played it for the story and rpg mechanics mostly as the monster girls are a blend of cool looking, some hot looking but most are just fucking nasty looking lol.The edited mtl is mostly good with only a few hickups here and there. Looking forward towards the next route getting released and would recommend the game.

Weirdly enough, a porn RPG is probably one of the best RPGs I've ever played. And I don't even care about the porn in the game. It's like I kind of wished that there was a non hentai version so that more people would be able to enjoy it, but at the same time, its like one of the main premises.Personally, the main hook are the characters of the game. Its got that parody / gag anime adventure vibe, but there's also a surprising amount of depth behind the characters when things get serious. But characters are subjective. Story and narrative are subjective. Gameplay is subjective. This game is subjective, and doubly so. The other reviews have done a great job extolling the praises of this game or casting it down as rubbish, and they have their points - its flawed, its polarizing, and yet for me at least it remains compelling.I think the story is awesome - a great mix of lightheartness and dramatic moments. In general, the game is extremely content-rich, and the story and world are no exception. At the same time, you could make a very valid argument that the story drags on and on, relies too much on JRPG tropes, etc.I think the gameplay is awesome - its like a mix of pokemon, final fantasy, and traditional RPGMaker combat. There's a ton of different mechanics and customization you can do with the characters. You can stat optimize your characters to basically break the game in the late game. It even got some of that stardew valley in there with character gift-gifting and interactions. At the same time, you could make a very valid argument that the gameplay is bloated, the game is grindy (kind of? depends on difficulty, but even max difficulty is not hard with a understanding of the mechanics), mechanics become useless, don't like making big numbers in video games bigger, etc.So basically, after 300 hours of this game, I can say its my favorite porn game where I don't care about the porn. And its my favorite game that I can recommend to the least amount of people. Truly one of the games of all time.

Walkthrough of MGQ Paradox:

Main - Rescue Hans

Start by reading the diary and decide if you want to add an entry to it. It doesn't seem to affect anything as of now, but it might in part 3. Exit the house (or check the barrels for loot first). A villager appears and informs Luka that the lumberjack has been kidnapped! Naturally, your next location is the Iliasville Mountains.

Unless you're on Paradox difficulty pre-2.0, the Slime Girls here shouldn't be a problem until they start appearing in groups of 2 or more (as they can use their bind to stop you for 2 turns). When low on HP, head to the spring in the center to rest up. When you feel like you can take on 3 slimes safely, head to the top. With 2.0 this will generally be at level 2, or 3 on Paradox.

You encounter a shrunken Ilias along the way, but she runs off. You then fight Bunny Slime along two normal slimes. After you beat them up, the lumberjack thanks you and heads back, and so do you... but you run into Alice. She asks if you've seen a rabbit. She wont leave until you say yes.

She heads up to the summit and begins to beat up the Bunny Rabbit. Talk to her again to cause her to leave. A cutscene occurs, and you're be teleported back to Iliasville.

Head up to the temple, talk to Sonya, and watch the cutscene. Heading out, Sonya tells you that Alice and Ilias are fighting in your inn.

This is where the game splits.

Alice has many races she can pick from, while Ilias only has the Angel race. Ilias is much more useful early on, as she has AoE Holy attacks, which always hit their target and deal high damage to monsters, whom make up most of the enemies of part 1. Alice will be better late game because she has access to more races and jobs, but requires more farming to be effective. Either way, whomever you pick here will be with you until you start a New Game+.

Main - Say Goodbye

Whomever you picked wonders if you should say goodbye to the village chief. This is not required, but skipping it has consequences (detailed below).

If you choose to visit the chief, you'll get a key to the storage room and can ask the chief and his wife about various things. Go up to the roof of the house to get some treasures. After you leave, Sonya forces her way into the party. A mysterious person chases after the party and triggers another cutscene once he reaches you. If you try to run away from him (by crossing the bridge), this mysterious person stops time to reach the group (and you get an achievement). After commenting about how weird the encounter is, Sonya mentions that she can hear a slime girl crying.

You are now free to leave, but it's a good idea to first visit the storage room (which has treasures chests with useful items), talk to Lazarus and go take care of the slime.

If you didn't visit the chief, you won't recruit Sonya and hence can't talk to Lazarus (though she'll be forced into the party later, at the entrance of Snow Cave) or obtain the Pocket Castle (though if you're on NG+, it appears that you will still get the Pocket Castle, and while you cannot add her to your party, there will still be voicelines from her as if she had joined you. This becomes the norm temporarily if one is aiming for the "Sonya's Bizarre Adventure" achievement)

Side - Save the Slime

Head to the right to find the slime girl in the middle of the poison marsh. Walk over the damaging liquid, and then talk to her to save her. She will then ask to join your party. Don't forget to heal yourself either by using Sonya's skills, returning to Luka's inn or talking to Aunt Betty.

Main - Explore Castle

Leaving the village, whomever you chose will present to you the Pocket Castle. After learning how to switch in and switch out your party members, leave the castle. Your goal is Iliasburg, which is found by following the road upwards. However, if you head back into town, there are two side quests that you can take, listed below in the recommended order of completion.

Side - Save the Guard

The guard has managed to get himself stuck in the exact same place where the Slime Girl was. Go save him.

The guard then tells you that if you head to the Cave of Trials, south of Iliasville, you can get the Proof of Bravery. Having this item allows you to become a Guard, and is the first of many job change items. The place has 2 floors, and there is a blue chest that requires the team to have a Thief with Lockpick 1 unlocked to open. The slime girl you recruited is one, but her job level is too low, and requires an excessive amount of farming for now.Recruiting the Imp Rami and putting her in your party allow you to recruit two other useful party members. They are: Rumi, located in the strawberry field left of the village entrance, and Remi, who is in the storage room.

Side - Save the Merchant

In the item shop, talk to the merchant who will explain to you that his friend has gone missing in Talus Hill. Agree to help him, and head out. Be sure to speak to the guard at the start of the area, as he will give a Full Moon Grass, which is needed to complete the quest. The monsters here are powerful, but still manageable. The merchant is found in the center of the area. Talk to him and offer the Full Moon Grass. He'll return to Iliasville. Once you've finished exploring, return and speak to the merchant. He gives an apparent choice between 3 rewards - money, a sword, and a job change item - but picking one will make him give all 3.

Main - Surprise!

Approaching the town, the party stops to camp out. Depending on who you picked, Luka will gain skills.Alice will generally teach the skills she taught from the original trilogy; in this case Demon Decapitation.Ilias will teach Holy skills.Once you enter the town, the White Rabbit appears in front of the party. You get a couple of choices on how to respond:If you decide to let her go, the conversation ends.If you try to force an answer out of her, White Rabbit will summon the boss you fought earlier (Bunny Slime and two Slime Girls). And disappear anyway。Upon disappearing, she leaves behind the very important Key to Hades, which will open the door in Ilias Temple giving access to Hades. Hades will allow you to replay any fight in the game and, post game, will allow you to have access to the Labyrinth of Chaos.

Main - Find the Informant

Moving on, talking to the man in the alley has him mention a person by the name of Amira, who is a well known informant that may have the answer to where the White Rabbit went.Talk to the soldier a short distance to the northeast. He says that she was spotted by the fountain. Unfortunately, she isn't there.

The girl there will tell you that Amira went to the blacksmith. She isn't there either.

The warrior in the blacksmith's shop will say that Amira went to buy a weapon from the weapon shop.

The green-haired youth in the weapon shop claims she tried to earn money from the gambler in the back alleyway to the northeast.

Once again, she isn't there. Apparently she went to the Ilias Temple to change jobs. Head back there and speak to the head priest. He'll mention that he hasn't seen her. Take this time to also switch out any jobs or races that you may have mastered, as any Job EXP gained will be wasted otherwise. Speak to the first man again (the information broker in the alley), and he will say that he saw Amira being stuffed into a garbage can and kidnapped! The kidnappers are located west of Iliasburg, in the Irina Mountains. They're in the northern cave, not the southern cave. We'll enter the southern one at a later time.

MGQ Paradox

Summary:

This is one of the deepest RPGM porn games in existence, full stop: a genuinely massive party-based JRPG with hundreds of monster girls, a real class system, and dozens of hours of content. The H-content lives in the loss states and party dynamics, fully integrated, which is exactly the bar this directory enforces.
